Another Sip Cafe — Restaurant in Memphis

Just wow. And NOT in a good way. Wanted to order a whole milk latte, but they were out of whole milk. So I opted for an iced Americano with flavor, and said I'll just add a splash of half and half. Was asked if I'd like med or large, i said med. Was upcharged $.50 for the med size, which I noticed afterwards it does say in tiny print at the top of the menu, I guess the listed prices are for a small. The next two upcharges are what really threw me though: $.75 for iced, and $.65 for half and half🤯 I said I just wanted to add my own cream, do you not offer cream to add to coffee??! NO, if you want cream in your coffee you get charged for it. A Med iced Americano with flavor and cream was $6.70. And THAT was my reminder of why I am no longer a frequent patron of coffee shops. Definitely should have heeded the low 3.8 average rating for this place👎👎👎

In response to the owner: ABSOLUTELY LAUGHABLE that you think for 'many you are hitting the mark' your 3.8 star average rating says otherwise. There is certainly nothing 'exquisite' about your café nor the coffee you serve. Corporate storefront offering reheated space food out of a cooler. Okay, so how about a scone or a cinnamon roll? "We ran out of.." everything! After failing to have any of the menu items we requested, they had nothing left that we were interested in. The rest looked like Astronaut food - not the pro-shot examples from their polished, sparkling photos online.

When I requested a breakfast wrap the barrista literally reached into the refrigerator to get one from God knows when. No thank you!
