The service is horrible!!!
My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner. It turned out very bad experience this time. We’ve been here twice before, it was good. I always inform staff about my husband’s allergies. (He’s allergic of MSG and sesame.) I couldn’t remember what my husband ate before, it’s been a couple of years.
I told our staff who served us (He looks like a friendly person, but sometimes he became quite rude.) about my husband’s allergies, he acknowledged and informed me the restaurant never added any MSG on the food. My husband ordered Spicy and sour seafood soup, after eating for awhile he broke out. Firstly, he never paid attention to us while we were eating dinner, secondly, I told him my husband was allergic to MSG and I think it could be some of ingredients already have MSG, thirdly, he answered me back aggressively that “I should better know some of Thai food ingredients have MSG.” And he asked me where do I live? (I don’t know why he asked this question!), he told me many famous people came to eat at the restaurant and didn’t have any problems. How those famous people involved my situation, I don’t understand! This concerned my husband’s health! He never even said sorry for what happened! He walked away and took care of other customers, kind of ignored us. I do not like his personality at all because he yelled at me and kept asking what do you want from me? I wanted to talk to him more, but he ignored us. We had no patience, so we paid and left the restaurant.
I’m Thai. I always want to support Thai business. I took my husband to other Thai restaurants before and this never happened to him because they’re knowledgeable and careful, not like this man! I don’t think I’ll go back this Thai...
Read moreFive stars for the yummy food...whoever is cooking, these five stars are for you. The service was another story... as we walked in. We were taken to our table and offered water... then another person came to take our order and another person came with the food. When we asked for another wine to the original guy that showed us to our table and gave us water he told.us in a bad way that we should ask our waiter. We did not know who our waiter was as we had three people help us already and nobody introduced him or herself as our waiter. Then again we needed a napkin and this person was the only aroubd and he answered ok ok i will tell your waiter....Too bad as the food is superb. But the service another story. They should sort that in the back and not make us feel like we are bothering. Empy plates sat on our table thru the whole dinner... then once i mentioned the rude guy to someone else they offered to not charge us the tip... ??? I always leave a tip anyway and I did this time. Not sure if we were treated poorly because we are latinos and this rude guy was latino also or who knows. I still enjoyed the food a lot and told my brother hey lets enjoy this great food and forget about this guy. One of the best red curries ever. But the service...
Read moreTo start off I want to say, I love this restaurant and have loved it for many years. I’m a south beach local, and I constantly find myself craving Thai House. I love everyone that works there & they have some seriously tasty stuff. The curries are amazing, the soups everything is top notch. The ONLY DISH that you would think would be the easiest thing to make food, happens to actually be terrible, and that’s their Pad Thai. Such a basic dish, I hardly ever order it at Thai restaurants but when I do I know what to expect. The pad Thai at Thai house is easily the worst, super dry, you can barely taste anything, it’s almost hard to even eat. I thought this once but because the food is so good I figured, eh maybe it’s a one off. Tried again today and I can’t get more than 3 bites in. It tastes as if they make a giant batch of it, and then use that same batch everytime someone orders it. The crushed peanuts all stick together in a little ball and is the wettest part of the dish, would kill for that to be swapped around. Anyways, I highly recommend this place, just DONT GET THE PAD THAI, big waste of money. Trust me, order literally...
