Green + The Grain — Restaurant in Minneapolis

So I have been going to G&TG for years now and I really do love their salads...but the last few times I have visited I feel like they are getting SO STINGY with ingredients! When I ask for avocado (and am paying extra for it) I expect more than literally like 1 tsp worth. They used to do 2 scoops of other toppings and now I have noticed I am only getting one of each. It's hard to want to continue to pay $10 for salads when I feel like I am getting less and less every time. If ingredient cost is the issue I would almost rather they increase salad prices by a small margin and continue to give customers the same quantity of food as in the past.

UPDATE: Went in today to meet someone for lunch for the first time in a month and was even more disappointed this time around, dropping my review down to 2 stars. My salad was basically all lettuce with small hints of toppings...seriously?! Could that ingredient scoop be...

The Chinese Chicken salad is delicious. I love all the ingredients and the dressing is great. Also love that it's chopped. Not much I dislike more than having to cut up a salad. The line is always really long but moves pretty darn fast. One thing I noticed, and I don't claim that this is policy but the guy in front of me ordered the same salad but he got the small, I got the large. The person making my salad put the exact same portions of "toppings" on my large as the person making his small, but a lot more lettuce. Excellent salads, quick service, and convenient skyway location. I highly recommend stopping by here for lunch sometime. I've had nearly every salad on the menu and been pleased every time. They have a large and small salad and trust me the small salad is more than enough for your lunch. I've grabbed a large a couple times and it's lasted two days. They also have rotating soups available and homemade potato chips seasoned in various flavorings.
