Iâll submit a good review for this Wendyâs since it looks like theyâve had historically negative reviews and we had a good experience. Iâm pretty sure that the outdoor sign said âUnder New Management.â Weâre not from Moab so we donât know how the restaurant was run in the past, but I found no issues when we ate there for lunch while traveling.
There was one family in front of us in line. Once we ordered, Iâd estimate that both that family and my wife and I received our food within 5 minutes. The employee taking orders was friendly, polite, and did a good job advertising optional donations for cancer research.
The restaurant itself was clean. The interior design seemed a little dated with wooden furniture, but at the same time this gives this location some character that is distinct from other chain restaurants.
The food was what we would expect from a Wendyâs. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, regular chicken sandwich, double cheeseburger, fries, and drinks. There were no issues with our food. Despite the somewhat dated interior that Iâve described, they do have a newer soda machine that allows for custom flavors of drinks to be made.
For a five star review, Iâm not saying that this is a gourmet restaurant, but I would say that for meeting the metrics of quality, cleanliness, and good customer service, I donât think we could have asked for more, and I think this particular location accomplished the overall goal of providing a high-quality fast food chain...
   Read moreThis Wendyâs has really downgraded from what it used to be. Now only did it go from being the fastest to literally the slowest restaurant in town, they just donât seem to care anymore. And no wonder because they have a new manager and all the workers seem to be too old or too handicapped to be working. They put the slowest, most incapable person working the drive thru at night. You can expect to wait in drive thru 20-40 mins (not joking) for your food, that includes 10 mins just to take your order!
You can go anywhere else, a sit down restaurant here in town and can be expected to have your order and food within twenty to thirty minutes. The Moab Diner is FASTER at 10 mins for goodness sake! Not only that but they donât care to serve the customer anymore! I had asked one time if I could swap out the grilled chicken for spicy on the wrapââNo, you canât do that!â They never NEVER tell you no for something. How absurd. This place is a disgrace to what it used to be. They donât even sell vanilla frosties anymore either. I am so tired of it. I will not be eating from here anymore. Save your money. Sure, they are busy, probably feel frustrated. However, it is not an excuse to abuse your customer! You can choose to quit your job if you are not capable handling stress. And shame on you, Wendyâs! Have you ever audited your stores management teams?! Update after 3 months: I tried reaching out to Wendy's corporation, no response via customer service line, nobody answer after 5 times trying. Being on hold for over 1 hour, then been hang up silently. Left message via their webpage complain portal, finally someone emailed me for a light apologize.
