We chose this place for our family Easter dinner based on its reputation I remember from years ago and the amount of positive reviews. Our experience wasn’t the best though unfortunately. We spent $200+ for a family of four and nobody liked their dishes. I started with asking for a single macchiato and I was brought a shot of espresso with no milk/foam, so I just asked for cream which was brought out in little diner packets style. My cocktail, the gin fizz, came out in a regular water glass and was room temperature, the egg white foam was not dense and creamy it was about 4” of light bubbly foam, I asked for ice to cool the drink down. That drink would be better served super cold in a coupe glass. The cherry tomato and burrata appetizer was one of the better things we had although hot tomatoes in a cold salad was a little jarring at first. The garlic knots and dip were tasty. That brings us to the entrees. They were very bland. The Chicken Marsala was sweet and hardly any savor. The chicken parm tasted like oil and the cheese was barely melted on top and the marinara was bland, so I asked to try a little bolognese, maybe just a ramekin or small bowl I said, remarking their wasn’t much marinara on the plate and it needed more flavor so he brought a full side and charged us $9 for it. The spaghetti squash dish was also bland, only the chicken was eaten out of it, and if the server was good they would notice and maybe help us out with something else. The server was ok, but the steps of service are terribly lacking. Our table was dirty the whole time, we had to hand him things not being used anymore to make sure we could have a clear space rather than him taking initiative. I never got a knife replacement for my entree and just ended up cutting the chicken with a fork the best I could. In the end it was a disappointing experiment/experience for our Easter dinner together and our first...

We had a lovely lunch at this place while visiting the area with our two kids, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we sat down, we were impressed by how peaceful and quiet the atmosphere was - such a nice break from the busyness of Myrtle Beach. The seating was incredibly comfortable, which may seem like a small thing, but after walking around all morning, it really mattered. Now to the food: the seafood antipasto plate absolutely blew us away - fresh, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. It set the tone for the whole meal. And the bread? Just perfect. Warm, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with olive oil that tasted like it came straight from Italy. We also tried the pizza Margherita, which was fine - nothing particularly special, especially compared to everything else. But the ossobuco and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp were both excellent - rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying. You could tell the ingredients were high-quality and everything was prepared with care. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu cake and an Italian cake - both were homemade and absolutely delicious. Light, just sweet enough, and the perfect way to end the meal. I also tried their affogato with espresso ice cream - bold coffee flavor balanced with creamy sweetness. Special shout-out to our server, who was so sweet, caring, and genuinely helpful throughout the meal - especially kind and patient with the kids. I am so sorry that I forgot her name, only remember that she had a bandaid on her index finger, but her warmth really added to the whole experience. All in all, this place is a gem. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Italian meal with exceptional service. Don’t miss the antipasto...

Went here for the 1st time with my parents, and a group of friends and family on Tuesday March 11th 2025. Crave is an italian restaurant with pizza, appetizers, and the fare of italian food, including chicken, seafood, veal, and pasta dishes. There are two locations: North Myrtle Beach, and This location. This location is actually the original location before the one in North Myrtle opened. Great that is so popular, and I can definetely see why! Oh and because it is popular, parking may be a little tight. We found a spot easily that night. First we went to the bar, as all of our party was not there yet. and my mom talked to the host, who checked us in but wanted all of the party to be there before seating us. The bartender was very nice, and served us drinks while we waited. I had a watermelon Drink, my mom and dad had 2 titos with sprite. When the rest of the party arrived, we sat at a table. In total, we were a party of 10. A server greeted us right away, and gave us complentary bread. He also asked if we wanted separate checks, and this was helpful, because this time we did. We took some time to look over the menu. We started with fried Calamari, and the other checks also had this on their card, as well as split pea soup. BTW, liked the entertainment there, as there was an elvis impersonater. We then ordered our food. I had spaghetti Squash ala vodka. some others was specials, and various other dishes, like chicken and veal. everyone enjoyed their food. I thought mine was different, but it was very good. We also ordered some dessert and coffee- like my mom and i shared the tiramusu, which was good! We then all paid our checks, one used a gift card, one used cash, and another used a credit card. We also left a cash tip. Hope to be back to try...

Overall this is a decent restaurant for the price. The service is a little on the slow side when I first arrived but the waiters are covering multiple tables so I don’t blame them. I ordered the chicken parm and the chicken was a little burnt. It also tasted like they used the wrong oil to cook it. These aren’t major issues but when you spend at least $25-$30 per person I think it’s worth noting. Also the restaurant had live music. Now this isn’t a bad thing but it’s not my personal favorite. The restaurant did start to get loud (about 90-95 dB). This is just a personal preference, I prefer more quiet restaurants so do take that into account. I will say the seating inside is very cramped so if you get claustrophobic then I wouldn’t recommend this place. Lastly parking was a little bit tough. I drive a SUV, think Toyota RAV4 size and it was tough to park. The spots are a little on the small side. They do offer valet but I didn’t use it and I don’t know how much it costs. Lastly, you need reservations. I had to call ahead 3+ days since everything was booked. It’s a good restaurant but just not my personal type.
