We had a party of 5 children and 4 adults. We called ahead for reservations and confirmed their gluten free menu as the birthday boy celebrating his 8th birthday has celiacs. This location was recommended in a local restaurant group on social media for their GF options.

There were too many blunders to count.. there is no valet even though there is a sign. The lot was full and I had to drive around the block a couple times to find street parking. I didn't have change for the meter so I had to do some online pay thing while my kids were asking how far we had to walk and a million other questions.

Walk in and ask hostess stand if they could direct us to our friends who had just arrived a couple minutes prior. We gave their name and description and two employees just said "upstairs" and pointed to a door... okay, so go up there? .. right?

Atmosphere upstairs was cool, well decorated and there was music which made it more of a fun spot. There was no kids menu but the waiter did give a couple kids options when we asked. We ordered calamari, bang bang shrimp, edamame, all were very good!

We ordered our meals, and we were told kids could only get kids hibachi, we had a couple who wanted lo mien so we had to order full sizes for the 6 year olds. The kids hibachi was not put in as kids as requested or offered to correct on the check.

A drink spilled, no napkins for a solid 5 minutes and 2 requests. We had stacked our app plates and they sat there until the last of our entrees came out, they all came out at different times. Oh and we didn't have silverware, we asked three times. Three! We couldn't eat, the kids were whining, we just needed forks.

The table next to us received excellent service, that's how we realized we didn't receive salad or soup and weren't asked. I asked the waiter he said "oh oops" and I just asked him to bring a couple of each even though we had 9 entrees. They came out after half of the meals. It didn't matter we didn't have utensils.

The kids finally got their waters when the check came out. The 25% built in gratuity for that terrible service is robbery. I did speak with the manager and he was apologetic but we weren't even offered a complimentary dessert which in all honestly I wouldn't have even accepted but it would have maybe appeased me enough so I'm not sitting here pissed off on vacation because we spent $500 for a terrible birthday dinner experience.

Save your time. Save your money. Food is good but it's not worth dealing with all...

Theft-Stealing. The food is excellent however I can't ever come back here because of staff stealing. I have called management and they were always busy (they didn't even know the problem either they just were literally impossible to get a hold of) But I ordered to-go, I even remembered what I purchased it was the ahi tuna with white rice and I belive one other item. On the phone the to-go person said "that will be $68." And I replied "woah.....$68 dollars that's not correct why is it $68 dollars?" And I can't believe she admitted this, perhaps it was my tone of voice that knew something was very amiss, but she replied 👉"I added a 25% tip for myself." 👈 So I asked for her name she would not tell me, I tried to get in touch with management and just from being busy they never heard of this issue. This is stealing, the fact that I caught it is just lucky. Your to-go person is adding tips without people's knowledge or consent, and the fact she wouldn't tell me her name and disappeared when I showed up was crazy. Tipping especially in to-go is optional, and I find it outrageous her believing she even deserves a 25% tip for bagging food for less than 30 seconds - is AS deserving as dining in for a meal for nearly an hour and being waited on in the actual restaurant. I told them to take off the tip and they did, so I didn't end up paying it. But I am furious that their staff tried to steal from me without my knowledge or consent. They are adding tips without asking. This is a situation where the girl who tried to steal from me needs to be fired. Edit: I'm adding a comment. If the staff are this comfortable stealing from customers in this way, they are probably "floating drinks" which is stealing from the company. It's a scam where the server moves "floats" drinks on the pos system from one table who paid cash, to a different one who is paying credit card so they can pocket from the table who paid with cash. If they're Scamming your customers they're also Scamming you...

My girlfriend and I came in to eat here for the 2nd time this past Saturday night, 11/27/21. We had a great experience the first time we ate there so we decided to go back there to celebrate our birthdays.

We both ordered ribeye steaks. I ordered mine medium and she ordered hers well-done as she does not like for there to be any pink. Now I understand that ribeyes will have more fat than a sirloin or a filet. But the steaks we we got were mostly fat. After trimming the fat away there was hardly any meat left. Also, my girlfriend’s came out mostly medium, some parts medium rare; nowhere close to well-done.

I hate being the person to send food back but when you’re paying a decent amount (plus the 20% added to every ticket), you expect to get what you ordered. Initially the manager’s attempt to make it right was offering a 10% discount on the steaks, but then agreed to have the kitchen remake them, and that he’d personally see that they were cooked how we ordered them. We were stoked that he was going to have the kitchen remake them.

At this point it was getting late so we decided to get the new steaks to go. The manager came back to our table with to-go boxes packed with the new steaks, bagged everything up for us and said that he personally checked and made sure the steaks were done right.

We got home and were extremely disappointed. (Picture below). Neither of these steaks is anywhere close to well-done, and one of them is actually closer to medium-rare.

Needless to say, for the amount of money we spent, I am very dissatisfied and we likely will not return. I’m not sure what happened between our first visit and the second, which were only a month apart, but the manager obviously just wanted us to get out of his hair and did not really care about anything except making sure the restaurant...
