This little area is wonderful. It's not far from the entertainment. Parking doesnt cost much for the time allotted. There are a few restaurants to choose from all in the same building. We chose from the cheapest and the best view. Which was really great. If you have never eaten roof top before it's nice as heaven. The breeze the view the vibe the atmosphere the music the people the servers are all great. It's like everyone is happy to be up top enjoying the view and the weather. No matter if its beginning of May or middle of July. I love the rooftop cuisine. It's like not being confined inside. You don't have to look through windows. You aren't missing the outdoor fun while eating. You get to see it all. There is always much more fun with the people you go with they make vacations worth it.. Even better when you meet strangers on vacation and party with them. Not all people are bad and it makes you think isn't life great when you get to enjoy it. Roofs are amazing. If you haven't had the pleasure, plan a trip to Tin Roof at Myrtle Beach. Or any place there is an open rooftop for cuisine. You won't be disappointed by far. You won't want to leave either though. So enjoy life when you can while you can and make the memories last forever through photos and videos and memories of every person on the trip even the...
Read moreIf not for our exceptional server Bonnie, I would have given 1 star. That would have also been for the view and atmosphere.
Despite what appeared to be a lot of employees standing around, there seemed to be only two waitress working the entire dining area. There was a manager-type person who kept going around asking if everything was OK. When ordering our drinks we were told the draft beer equipment was down, and they were out of some ingredients to make their signature drinks highlighted on the menu. When drinks arrived, mine was completely something other than what I ordered. The food portions were very small. The burger was the size of a slider and was $11.25 ($11 on the menu). One of the chicken tenders ($6 on the menu, charged $7) was the size of a McNugget. The $3.25 side of crinkle fries ($3 on the menu) was small enough to fit in a coffee cup. A third person in our party said his tacos were not the best but I don't have a full description from him as he spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom.
Overall, quite sad because the last time we tried Tin Roof a couple years ago for lunch, the experience was terrific. But, like many Myrtle Beach restaurants, this one was great in initial quality but has gone downhill. The staffing issue is everywhere because of the pandemic, but there is no excuse for such poor...
Read moreTonight was my first night after staying next door at the Hilton. The evening started out great with drinks with Maggie our waitress. The watermelon margarita was very good. At 10 pm the waitress are cut off and you have to order from the bar. This is where the evening took a turn for the worst. The bartenders were less than friendly: After making the wrong drink- that we had been drinking for 2 hours- the bartenders were not willing to come back over to correct the issue. The manager Rob was kind and trying to be accommodating. The only reason I will return is Tre’ from the time we entered. He apologized for our experience and explained he would do what he could to make our night pleasurable. I just purchased next door at the Hilton and will give another try due to convenience however I am big on customer service and treatment just due to Tre’. I don’t mind paying extra but I expect to be valued as a customer. I want customers to be aware where they spend the money but for the right reasons- employees should treat customers kind and with respect if they want their business. By 1:00 the place was clearing out and the bar was dead and no one attended to the restaurants. It was as if the after hours crowd were second rate citizens and no one cared. The bathroom was filthy. They...
