I'd heard of this place, but never been. We came for a team Christmas party work function and it was fantastic!
Service: Excellent! The staff was attentive and helpful. Chatted with them for a while and were welcoming about my first time there and not pretentious at all (as can be the case with cool spots sometimes).
Drinks: Wonderfully made traditional and craft cocktails. I'm a stickler for a solid Gin and Tonic and they did damn good, also a really great Old Fashioned. They also had seasonal Christmas drinks. I thought they might just be for novelty sake, but they were full blown artisan cocktails. Well made and delicious.
Price: Mid-Range. If I remember correctly, it was about 13$ for a Hendricks double pour and close to the same for the craft cocktails. Very reasonable. Not sure the beer, as I don't really drink it often.
Environment: Festive! They had it decorated for Christmas and it was over the top, but in an obviously humourous and well done way. The space was on the smaller side, but had seating on a second level too. Definitely not a strike against it, because it was great being around everyone instead of folks splintering off into groups.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFound this place on Facebook events page while looking for something to do on a Saturday night. Saw they had a dj playing hip hop/rnb and thought cool! Everyone knows bars/clubs in that area do not play that genre of music especially on a Saturday night. Walked in and thought nice decor but super small, very limited seating. Found some seats next to the bar and attempted to order a drink. About 4 bartenders behind the bar. Stood there for a few mins and watched one bartender in particular on my end take drink orders for a group nearby, proceeded to give them their drinks then gave a female who was also with a group her drink, looks around then goes back to the group of females and starts a conversation, all the while Iām still standing there and never got any type of acknowledgement. After giving him another minute or so I walked away and motioned to my girlfriend to follow. We left!! I also noticed a group of females who walked in with us and were standing at the other end of the bar walk out shortly before we did as well. Needless to say from my experience they can use some improvement...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExactly how I expected it. The ivy covered brick, small gold plaque are unassuming. As you step through the door, you're greeted with a optical orgasm of art and decor. From Banksy decals, records along the wall. It doesn't stop there, warm moody lighting, long bar top and plenty of seating along both walls. The bartender Ray had the best, laid back vibe and showed us to our destination...the pop up Kapu Haloe. He made a super delicious Mai Tai to go with my hawiian eats. The bar plays host to so many amazing chefs, you have to follow on IG to make sure you keep utd. Its this type of place that you yearn for to get away from the honkytonk bridal bars. Thank you for existing! Also the...
