JWB Grill Nashville — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Waitress was incredibly rude to our table of 5. We had two couples and a single person. She became quite hostile when we asked if she could separate our checks after she asked if one bill was ok. We each had one meal and one drink. She proceeded to print all of our checks separated by head and asked us to clip the checks together who were paying together and we did as she asked. (Even after our checks had wrong items on each check we figured it would cause more confusion and just went with what she came up with). No big deal. After handing her our checks with the cards separated by each couple and the single person, she returned back to the table. At this time she began to raise her voice to us stating that someone did not pay and started frantically searching our table for the missing check. We showed her the five checks she currently had in her hands and she stomped off again. Only to return shouting at us “THIS IS WHY WE RECOMMEND ONE CHECK.” And slammed our tendered checks in front of us and walked away. Not once did she recommend one check and we had a table of five people? The restaurant was not busy and it was brunch hour on a Thursday. I always try to give servers the benefit of the doubt as I’ve worked in the industry for 10 years but I can tell you I have split much larger checks than that in a much more busy environment and never would dream of treating a customer that way. Very disappointed. No manager was around to speak to as I was considering be a Karen for the first time in my life but I suppose this will have to do.

Three of us ordered the breakfast sandwich. Two were awesome, one was completely raw and my fiancé did not send it back. DO NOT GO HERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! Anywhere is better than here McDonald’s service is better!!!! This is by far the worst experience I have EVER encountered anywhere ever. We sat at 9:35pm didn’t receive our waters until 5/10 mins after 10pm. After reminding her at the 15 min mark. We watched her check the table near us 2/3xs as we sat there with no water. My party and I were about to get up and walked out. As we were I seen them coming w/ our food and felt bad. Giving the fact that I was a server for years. Our server was NOT empathetic at all. Not apologetic at all. The mangers didn’t help either. I asked her about the grilled chicken they put in the Mac and cheese and she decided to put it on it without me telling her to. She also gave me the wrong upcharge , didn’t even bother pointing it out because I was already so overwhelmed w: the horrible experience. It was my mother’s birthday they walked over w/ a desert didn’t even sing happy birthday. The server honestly didn’t want to be there. I will not put her name here as the point of this is not to embarrass her. It wasn’t busy at all. As we went there near it was closing. STAY AWAY!! Now let me tell you what a disaster. This place is. Amazing hotel but the people running this restaurant should all move to a different country. They couldn’t run our restaurant if their life depended on it. I have travelled around the world and I have never seen worst service in my life. This place tops, the charts . one and a half hours to even order breakfast. They bring a coffee they forget spoons by the time they come back your coffee is cold. Food comes out cold, why because it’s been sitting waiting for somebody to bring it to your table for 20 minutes. A manager that is full of earrings and tattoos comes up to you and says hey what do you want. And obnoxious. Just sat there watching the food get cold instead of moving his butt to bring it to the table. This is not one incident. We were at a convention at this hotel for four days and unfortunately, we had no choice but to try breakfast every one of those days. Every single day was a disaster one than the other. The hotel is so lovely, what they are doing with this restaurant is a shame. Get rid of the managers and hire some proper people to run...
