*update: the owner of Mint Julep Experiences reached out to the bride of our party and was very helpful, kind, and patient in hearing about our experience and going above and beyond to make sure we came out with a positive note. Her professionalism was much appreciated after everything was said and done! We went on the Murals and Mimosas tour at the end of February 2024 as part of a bachelorette party. We were all very excited to take some basic/Instagram pictures to brag on our bride, who booked this experience due to its high ratings. However, we had an awful experience. Our tour guide was Caleb, who went as far as introducing himself and that was it. He didn't explain the layout of the tour and didn't introduce our driver to us. The bus we took was unable to change off of the radio and there was no way to hook up any music of choice. We rolled up to the first mural without any explanation of where we were or anything about the mural itself, and then Caleb proceeded to take a bunch of lopsided photos (you can see several of them attached to this review). The photos were not centered, focused, or thoughtful - we expected MUCH better pictures from someone who did this day in and day out! They cut off at weird places or had weird angles to them. I had to help correct several of his pictures and he made a joke of it! At the end of the first stop we were all confused where the drinks and snacks were - it wasn't until we asked our guide that he explained the drinks wouldn't come until the last stop. We made several stops and Caleb offered absolutely NO explanation of anything along the way, did not teach us anything about Nashville or the area, and more than once lead us down some sketchy alleys without explaining where we were going or what murals we were seeing next. When we finally got to the last stop, they had only a two-person table prepared... Our party had been booked for 5 people. They squeezed some extra chairs in around the small table but it was very obvious that the food and drink they'd prepared were only enough for 2. Additionally, 3 of us had asked for non alcoholic drinks at the time of booking, but they only gave us alcoholic drinks. It wasn't until we spoke to the bar manager OURSELVES that we got the appropriate food and drink. When we got back on the bus after our allotted time, Caleb said it was the end of the tour but we were a whole 45 minutes ahead of schedule. Per the booking, we should be able to see 7-10 murals based on timing, and we had only seen 7. Afterward, Caleb did not even bother asking us for a review or tips, as he seemed very aware that he had done a poor job. The only saving grace was that our driver John was willing to drop us off at our hotel instead of our starting point. We were all sorely disappointed by the experience and expected much better.

They have the best tours to Jack Daniels and George Dickel distilleries. Travel in beautiful, new black buses with high back leather seats with an expert whiskey expert tour guide on board for the entire trip. You will learn all kinds of interesting facts about whiskey in the 90 minute ride to the distilleries, such as "why all bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon", and where the terms "proof" and "shot glass" originated, and why most of the distilleries are in TN and KY and lots more fun facts. The tour of both distilleries, called "Legends" includes a wonderful lunch stop ( meal and admissions included in your ticket price) where you can choose "rattlesnake pasta", whiskey burger (with a sauce made from both Jack & George whiskies), chicken, BLT, BBQ or salad bar. At the end of the day, you have a little time to enjoy the quaint shops on the town square in Lynchburg, and there is a "special surprise" stop at the end of the day. Worth every penny of the ticket price and more - leave the driving to Mint Julep, learn all about whiskey and enjoy the guided tours at the 2 oldest distilleries in TN! (Find out what is the difference in KY bourbon and TN whiskey from your Mint Julep tour guide!) You can even bring your own alcohol/drinks for the ride down and back - they supply ice, coolers, drink cups and bottled water to go with it!

I recently embarked on the Murals and Mimosas Tour in Nashville, and it was an absolute blast! Our guide, Luke, was a treasure trove of knowledge, sharing fascinating insights about each mural and the artists behind them. His patience was commendable, especially when our group insisted on capturing the perfect Instagram shot at every stop. Dillon, our driver, was the epitome of safety—imagine cruising through Nashville with your driver’s ed teacher at the wheel. His cautious driving allowed us to fully appreciate the vibrant street art without any worries. The tour took us through some of Nashville’s trendiest neighborhoods, including The Gulch and the Gulch Greenway. We even had the chance to pose in front of the famous “What Lifts You” wings mural, capturing photos that are sure to make our friends envious. To top it all off, we enjoyed refreshing mimosas and delectable snacks at a local rooftop bar, offering stunning views of the city. This tour is a must-do for anyone looking to experience Nashville’s vibrant art scene with a side of bubbly.

We booked a Murals & Mimosa Tour in Nashville for Mother's Day. We ended up only having the four of us on the trip so it felt like a private tour! Jeremy was our tour guide/host and we were so lucky to have been matched with him. He was not only knowledgeable about the area but he knew so much history about the buildings and places around the city.

We loved the mimosas and fruit tray at The Twelve Thirty Club. When we were walked in, led by Jeremy, we felt like royalty. The roof top bar felt swanky and was such a treat. (Side note: we hit this at the beginning of the tour but it might have been nicer at the end after all that walking. But maybe because it was Mother's Day, the reservations did not work out for that to happen?)

Jeremy was great at knowing where and how to take the best group photos. As moms, we are often not in the picture because we are always taking them. But we were in SO many and they all turned out so well. Such a bonus!

We also loved our stop at Marathon Motor Works. What a gem!

Can't recommend this tour and Jeremy enough! Thank you for making our Mother's...
