I frequently visit this establishment on numerous occasions due to the convenience of living next door. I have to admit that I was addicted to the crispy chicken. Itās extremely delicious but unfortunately about 6-7 months ago I ordered and received some that had apparently been setting out for awhile because they were noticeably not of the same quality I was accustomed to. It was about 8:30 pm when I got upstairs and noticed the quality of my food. I immediately went back to the restaurant and encountered a female by the name of Sharon that was extremely rude yelling at me telling me that theyāre closed although it clearly states that the closing time was 9:00 pm. Apparently the crew on that particular night felt the urge to close and start cleaning up early and didnāt want to use the equipment to prepare me another order. The next day I shared my encounter with Zack the GM. He apologized on her behalf and this amazing young man by the name of Piper prepared me a fresh batch free of charge.Ever since I made the complaint; Sharon has the worst attitude with me. Itās seven months later and she still acts the same way. She rolls her eyes and shrugs her face up every time I enter the establishment. I went in a few days ago and she was the cashier. I walked to the register and she walked away like she had something else to do before she could take my order. When she finally approached the register , she just stared at me with this horrible look on her face. She refused to greet me and just stood there silent. I proceeded to make my order even though my mind was telling me to leave and never come back. When my order was ready she just threw the bag on the counter and walked off. The next day I visited the restaurant again. Guess who was at the register again. Thatās correct ;Sharon. Same ugly attitude and disposition. If it wasnāt for Brandon and Piper I wouldāve been stopped visiting this place. These two young men are the definition of True Professionalism. Hopefully it can become contagious and Sharon can catch it because from now on if sheās working in there; Iām spending my money somewhere else. Beware of this rude unprofessional cashier. It wonāt be hard to notice her. Sheās the one with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanted to take a few minutes out of my day to write a review to express my frustration for this place and the amount of disrespect that I received from the cashier. I do not know the cashier's name, but I will include a picture of her in which she will be located on the right. I tried this place out for the first time on April 26, 2025, and was treated with disrespect for absolutely no reason. The food was great; however, the service from the cashier is the reason why I will not be returning until she receives additional training to help assist her with her rude/disrespectful behavior. The cashier was rude and tried to rush me while I was in the middle of placing my order even though there were no other customers in line to place an order at the restaurant. After receiving my food, the fries were so tasty that I wanted to place another order a second time in which this was where she began to become incredibly ridiculous. She came over to the cashier register with an attitude and specifically stated "you should've ordered all of this the first time. I do not get paid enough for this" and made me feel uncomfortable with her scrunched up angry face. After still placing in my order despite her unnecessary attitude, she proceeded to go to the "pick up" area and went on her phone. Her attitude could have been somewhat justified if the restaurant was packed with people; however, there were absolutely no other people in the store except for my family and I. This is NOT the way you should treat customers. I am very upset and frustrated that this had to be my first time experience at Showbird all because of the lady pictured...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePros: The food and service were really good! I ordered the Slim Chickins breakfast sandwich and dined in. I love breakfast, so I was delighted that they have an all-day breakfast selection. The sandwich was prepared quickly and it was delicious! The brioche bun was just perfect for the sandwich. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The house l-made chicken sausage, guacamole and onions were super tasty and added a lot of flavor. The price was fair for the middle of the CBD.
Cons: I just did not have a great experience dining in. First, the entire concrete floor was very sticky. Additionally, I noticed a faint sewage smell when I walked in. The smell went away after a few moments though. The third issue was a man walked in with a small white dog on a leash. He ordered and sat down at an inside table. (Note there are outside tables and it was a beautiful, cool day.) The dog was on a retractable leash 'exploring' around the man's table and other diners were petting it. It did not behave like a service animal at all and wasn't wearing anything to identify it as such. The dog began barking which echoed loudly in the space. I was luckily finished with my meal at that point and left. I know service animals are a tricky subject for restaurants, but it was not behaving at all. I understand not wanting to leave your dog unattended if you needed to order to-go (he could have held the dog). As far as I know, the staff could clearly see and...
