Brooklyn Deli — Restaurant in New York

AVOID. Never charge the same price for the same order. The cooks are good. The old guy at the front early morning JUST RIPS PEOPLE OFF . ordered the same thing 3 days in a row with a different price each day- prices on 3 consecutive days 8.95,9.95, 10.80?? Was quite rude saying I must have ordered different things. Had stopped going for 2 years because the same old guy charged by 19$ for food that added up to 14$. Even with tax and cc fee made no sense.I asked for the receipt and showed him (cc fee 3%) that it made no sense. Tossed me back 1$ then after a few minutes which still didnt make sense .Vowed then never to return and shame on me for returning. SInce I workin downtown brooklyn all my colleagues now know to avoid(most have had their ownsimilar experiences as it turns out ).Multiple places on same stretch of the street to choose from...

Update - came here with a mealpal voucher that came with chips and they scooped out the old roast veggies and refused to give me chips as the menu had listed on mealpal. After today, and the quality of the food, i can no longer recomend this place for food.

It is located within walking distance of several trains and adjacent to 4 metrotech and several local hotels and businesses. There tend to be a peculiar crowd that hangs around this deli as it is fairly close to the homeless shelter, bur overall not bad.

The food options are somewhat sketchy. Im not sure I could recomend eating here, but I'll try the food soon.

Frequented this place because it was right across the street and a good place to go for various items if I didn’t want to make the trip all the way to target for one item (or if target was closed). A little bit over priced but you’re mainly paying for convenience. Only reason I didn’t give this 4 stars is because the last 3-4 times they tried to over charge me on the listed price (usually 1-2 dollars).
