I hate to be harsh but we gotta keep good bagels alive in NYC. The bagels here are mediocre at best... and the vibes in the shop are off. Paid 7+ dollars for a cold, dry bagel with all the sesame seeds fallen off and the smallest amount of cream cheese you could ever justify giving (shameful considering the schmear alone was $5.50). I realized too late that I should take a picture.
The only reason for two stars and not one is because the Schmear Campaign sandwich was not bad. But imo if a bagel can’t stand on its own with just cream cheese (or butter), it doesn’t deserve to be called a bagel!!!
I wonder if the high reviews were solicited because these are just clearly inferior bagels.

Time to pay they then tell me they don't take big bills, there is no sign that says this and when I ask why, the cashier informs me it's "because the boss says so"
There were also 2 different Caucasian families in the store after me and they were asked for their name to put on their orders, I was never asked anything.
I was never rude to the cashier so why she was rude and dismissive to me I will never know, food was not bad but the customer service...
