Service was on point. I had a server name Joe, he consistently checked up on me despite how packed dinner time was. The servers knew what dish had what, they were very knowledgeable. Chef Connor handles himself very well and so his team. 3 line cooks and a pizza maker taking on the entire service on their own. I sat at the bar watching them work, food came out on time. I met Gio the pizza maker, I have to say you can see the passion in his work ethics. People are ordering pizza left and right and he's knocking them down 1 by 1. Most head chefs usually just bark orders but chef Connor was hands on and helping his team. I give him a lot of my respect. Let's talk about the food. I had a small seafood dish, raw fish, with fennel and I believe an acidic green sauce. I've never been a fan of sour but I actually enjoyed it. Presentation looked nice. Next up is the tiny pasta things. I kid you not I was freaking surprised how super rich and creamy the fillings were. The small bits of mushroom may have been my favorite because I actually like mushrooms. The only problem I have is because it's super rich and creamy, there were too many of them. I'm not trying to complain about having more than enough but the fillings inside is overpowering. I think the dish should be shared than solo. I enjoy the dish overall. Finally the pizza, what defines Pasquale Jones. I had their Diavola. I really like the crust and dough itself. I'm going to be extremely honest about the pizza. Even though I ate whole thing by myself, there were a tiny bit much basil for me to enjoy. Would I come again? Yeah I would.

Understanding the significance of reviews for businesses, I initially hesitated to share my experience. However, the two dishes my partner and I ordered were unpleasant in both smell and taste. While their pizzas have garnered decent reviews, I cannot recommend any of their pasta dishes. Taking a bite of their Spaghetti Al Limone, a seemingly simple dish, provoked a gag reflex. Even with the optional Uni topping, which emitted a stale odor and appeared defrosted, the experience was intolerable. I had to spit out the Uni and could not bear to have the dish in front of me. The resulting sickness lingered throughout the day, as I struggled to rid my mouth of the offensive flavor. The second dish, Cavatelli Nero, emitted an aroma and flavor reminiscent of seawater. It appears that others have voiced similar concerns about their pasta dishes previously, yet the establishment continues to retain them on the menu without introducing any changes or utilizing fresh ingredients. If dishes are not sampled by the chef before leaving the kitchen, I doubt the quality of their other offerings. Thankfully, there are approximately ten excellent Italian restaurants nearby on Mulberry Street; I would suggest exploring those instead.

Tucked away in Nolita’s charming corner, Pasquale Jones is the kind of place that doesn’t just serve food, it delivers an experience. The Margherita pizza was a masterclass in simplicity: a blistered, airy crust with the perfect chew, balanced by the tangy sweetness of San Marzano tomatoes and the creamy melt of fresh mozzarella. Basil leaves crowned it all, gently singed from the wood-fired oven, adding an aromatic lift to every bite. Don’t be fooled by the “personal size” label this pizza is generously portioned, easily the size of a regular large pizza. Perfect for sharing, though you may not want to. Paired with a crisp white wine, the combination was effortlessly elegant. The wine’s acidity cut through the richness of the cheese, cleansing the palate and making each slice feel like the first. To finish, we tried the panna cotta, and it was the perfect finale. Silky, subtly sweet, and topped with a seasonal fruit compote. Delicate, light, and beautifully balanced. The ambiance is intimate yet energetic, thanks to the open kitchen and warm, minimalist design. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the laidback luxury of the experience.

Pasquale Jones, tucked away in the vibrant heart of NYC, is a gem that epitomizes the soul of wood-fired cuisine. From the moment you enter, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a dining experience that feels both cozy and exciting.

The star of the show at Pasquale Jones is undoubtedly the wood-fired oven, where magic happens. The pizzas are a crispy, blistered delight, with a perfect char on the crust that complements the fresh, high-quality toppings. The clam pie, with its rich, savory flavors, is a standout—must-try for any visitor. Equally impressive are the entrees, especially the lemon-charred chicken, which is succulent and packed with flavor, demonstrating the kitchen’s mastery over its wood-fired technique.

The menu also features a thoughtful selection of Italian wines that beautifully match the robustness of the food. Each glass suggests a story, enhancing the meal with a touch of Italian authenticity that Pasquale Jones prides itself on.

Service at Pasquale Jones is impeccable. Staff members are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely attentive, adding a personal touch to the dining experience that makes you feel well-taken care of.

In essence, Pasquale Jones is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Italian culinary traditions, served up with a modern flair and executed with excellence. A visit here is a must for those who appreciate the fine art of dining, and it’s a place sure to impress, from the first bite to the last. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, Pasquale Jones delivers a flawless experience that leaves you longing for...

Food was good. The service, however, was absolutely terrible. Our reservation was at 8 and we sat promptly. Unfortunately, this was the only prompt service of the night. It's took close to 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. We had a question re the wine list which the server could not answer and advised that a sommelier would come and assist. About 15 minutes later (30 minutes since we were sat), a sommelier finally came over to answer a simple question. We ordered a bottle and proceeded to wait about 10 mins for the sommelier to come back and present the bottle. After approving the bottle, the sommelier took the bottle away to open it at the host stand. I watched as the sommelier placed our open bottle on the host stand, become distracted, and walk away. About 45 minutes after sitting, we finally got the wine and placed our food order. This was the last time we saw the waitress. We spent the rest of the evening flagging down support staff trying to get attended to. What was most frustrating was that we could see the servers standing in the service station chatting as well as standing at the host stand doing to same. As I said, the food was pretty good, but not worth the hassle of the service. If the service was even decent, this place would be worth the price. Based on our experience, I recommend going elsewhere to...
