Ordered here from their website, which rerouted me to simple menu, for pickup. They changed their location and moved 4 blocks away but fine, not a problem. They still had the sign up from the previous restaurant up (Meera?) at the new location, without any indication that it was actually Raj's kitchen. The people inside the restaurant looked like they could be Indian so I took a chance and I was happy it was indeed them.
When I ask for my order, the cashier goes into the back and I assumed he was looking for my order. 10 mins later, I ask where it is and then he begins to tell me they don't take orders from simplemenu. I explained to him that I was confused as their restaurant website routed me to this page. All he keeps saying is that they don't use simplemenu, but confirms this is the website for the restaurant. At which point the possible owner/manager comes into the restaurant. So I think to myself, maybe this person can help. First they spend a few mins talking amongst themselves about the fact that the fax machine isn't set up. I tell the owner the same thing when he comes over - I ordered through the link that the restaurant website provided me. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he tells me that "we don't argue here" and then tells me that "he refuses to speak to me because I will turn it against him"... and then keeps walking away when I ask him to confirm if this is the website or not. At this point, he's provided no solution and has pointed the blame completely on me.
Seemed like they are not interested in my business so I leave. Get home and call simplemenu to cancel my order. Simplemenu were the nicest people and tell me that this restaurant receives the orders through fax but would be willing to call them to resolve the issue. Def not interested in giving them my business but GOT IT! So the restaurant didn't set up the fax machine when they switched locations and instead of taking ownership of that, their solution was to blame it on the customer without even trying to find a resolve. Pretty messed up. I literally just wanted some Indian food to remind me of India as a family member in India had recently passed, but instead spent the night having to deal with some dishonorable...

Their vegetarian biryani is exceptional, featuring a well-balanced blend of cheese and vegetables, complemented by perfectly seasoned rice. The medium spice level strikes just the right balance, providing a pleasant kick without being overwhelmingly spicy.
Another standout on their menu is the impressively-sized samosa, which is sure to delight any palate. My partner consistently enjoys their delectable butter chicken, which is yet another testament to the quality of the dishes here. With reasonable prices and generous portions, you can easily enjoy a satisfying meal for two for just around $30. Don't miss out on this culinary gem in Long...
