What a way to ruin our night!!! I went with my girlfriend. Smiles at the door, the bouncer was extra nice. The host, even nicer. The girls weren't that good at dancing but they were beautiful. And diverse. White, black, asian. The waitresses were even gotter than the dancers. So far. All good. Except for the fact that they pre authorized my card for $100 at the bar when I opened a tab for 2 beers. Really weird. How much do yimou think 2 people who walked in at 2am are gonna drink? I understand there are rules, and I don't mind at all. I'm a guest at your establishment. But kindly let me know the rules because, well, I'm a guest! Anyway My girl and I got a couple of dances. We were invited to the private room by Tanya. I told them the waitress still had my card and the manager went to get it. It took longer than it should have. Way too long. We paid around 350 for 30 minutes. Were told to tip before getting the service. I thought that was weird, but I always tip anyway so I don't mind. I do mind being told how much to tip. The manager said 20% was $50. It wasn't, it was $40. but I gave $50 anyway. $10 difference. Who cares. She was nice anyway, very friendly. Pushy but friendly. We told them this was our first time at Rick's. "Let us know about the rules" we don't know what to expect inside. We were ready to have fun with our dancer Tanya when a waitress walks in and offers us champagne. We said we didn't want champagne cause we didn't like it. We were having beers. The waitress said we couldn't have beers there. We asked why and she didn't give us an answer she just said that Tanya liked champagne. We insisted that we liked beer and we were the customers. She refused to bring beer and insisted on the champagne. We don't like it. Not trying to be cheap here. We just don't wanna pay for something we won't drink. Then she said that we could buy the bottle and they would drink it for us. What??? I was very uncomfortable and I could see Tanya feeling uncomfortable too. My girlfriend told the waitress that if she wanted to drink our champagne, she would have to dance for us. She said she could not but she coul still drink our champagne. Then she said "come on. At least have a bottle of water" So water is fine but you can't sell us beer? She brought us two beers and a water and left. Look, I get it. It's Monday. Not the best night of the week. And you are a waitress trying to get tips. I've been there too. I really do get it. But the manager and waitress have to understand that Rick's was a new experience for us. We don't know what it's like and what to expect. We know that even restaursnts have rules for minimum spending at private room. If they had told us before going in that the VIP room had spending rules besides the 350 and we would've appreciated it. We went to two different places where they didn't have such an annoying waitress trying to shove champagne down our throats. When she finally left wr told Tanya that we were very sorry. We just preferred to spend our money on her than on the establishment. Tanya gave us great service even though our moods were already ruined. Very sensual, and friendly girl. Absolutely Disgusting Experience — Do Not Support This Business IF I CAN GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD

I came to Ricky’s Cabernet with my friend for a fun night out and was absolutely humiliated. The moment we arrived, one of the bouncers checked our IDs and immediately looked us up and down. He then told us we “looked like we worked there,” so we couldn’t come in. We were both shocked and confused — I was wearing a dress and my friend had on denim shorts. His comment was completely inappropriate and degrading, as if our appearance meant we didn’t belong as guests.

I felt so violated that I started crying. While my friend was calmly trying to ask why we weren’t being let in, another bouncer came out — without even knowing what happened — and doubled down, refusing us entry. They then proceeded to laugh at my friend and completely ignore her. As we were walking away, I tripped and fell, and both bouncers laughed at me again.

This kind of behavior is disgusting, misogynistic, and unprofessional. These men made us feel worthless and embarrassed for absolutely no reason. No one deserves to be treated like this. I hope management sees this and holds them accountable. Until then, I urge others not to support this business. Women deserve to feel safe and respected — not judged and mocked. I remember their faces clearly and would like them held responsible. My friend spoke to the manager, and instead of holding his staff accountable, he said he was “sure the bouncer didn’t make that disgusting comment” — even though he wasn’t there and there’s no audio on the cameras. He tried to twist the situation, claiming my friend was “clapping back” on camera, when in reality, she calmly asked why we weren’t allowed in. Then he brought up that I was “stumbling,” as if that somehow justified anything — when in truth, it was my first time wearing six-inch heels and I was doing my best.

When I fell, he claimed someone tried to help me up, but I saw them laugh at me. And the worst part? He told us, “I’m sorry you feel degraded,” as if it was all in our heads — when the reality is, we were degraded. It’s just another example of how women are dismissed, blamed, and disrespected in a world that protects men in power.

I had a few bad experiences in this club with the bathroom attendant. He is always checking to see if the customer is taking a dump when using the toilet. He asked me directly “Are you taking a number two?” I went to this club yesterday and I had that bad experience (Thursday, December 10th, 2020). And my visit a couple years back I had a similar experience, the bathroom attendant told me to use the bathroom in the fourth floor, when I was about to use the toilet, I don’t think it was the same guy. But I went to the fourth floor just to use the bathroom because I didn’t want any problems with him, I used the stairs to walk upstairs... After that I didn’t visit FOR A LONG TIME! They just hire lazy bathroom attendants I guess. But other than that no issues. I normally don’t write reviews but I couldn’t ignore this. Somebody should speak to him about that! If he wasn’t working there I would visit a lot more! At least he didn’t ask for a tip that’s the only good thing about him. He ruined my Thursday! Thank you.

Just an update, he was here yesterday! (March 26th, 2021.) And said to me “If you want to sit down I got a different bathroom 🚽.”
