I don’t know if people are just delusional or they just follow what’s trendy. First let me start off by saying my husband and I LOVE coffee. Our favorite thing to do is visit local small business coffee shops. We were here out of town and visited this location July 20th 2024. I was so excited from reading the reviews and seeing the adorable atmosphere.
Let’s start with the ordering process. You could tell all the new people who came in, because no one realized the menu was behind us. Who puts the menu behind the customer instead of in front, but whatever no big deal. The two gentlemen at the counter were the worst. They both looked as though they wanted to know why the hell we were even there and had no type of inviting interactions with guest at all. They kept turning and looking at each other as if what we were asking was so ridiculous, but it was simply questions about the menu.
We ordered a hot lavender latte with oat milk and an iced lavender latte with oat milk, we also ordered a croissant and a panini. The lattes were some of the nastiest lattes I’ve ever had, they had no flavor and the coffee was weak. I knew it wasn’t going to be good before drinking it just based off how light the coffee was under the froth. I would love to tell you how the croissant and the panini were, but after being the first in there to order anything we waited and waited and waited for both. We finally got tired of asking we took two sips of coffee and left.
The ambiance was sooooo cute, but it seems that’s all there is to this place. Our pictures came out cute, but we left and went to get coffee somewhere else.
These two need to be retrained, as they do not need to be servicing...
Read moreThis cafe is super cute, but when my friend rented the backyard for her 30th birthday, she had to handle all the decorating herself. The space was cozy—maybe a bit too cozy—and the unused areas were cluttered with random stuff, which felt a bit neglected considering we were paying guests. The rental price was reasonable (around $1,000), but she had to bring her own food, and I'm not sure if there were any extra charges for that.
When I first arrived, the baristas weren't as welcoming as I expected and just pointed me to the back. We later realized there was a separate entrance that was easier to access, but it looked more like an office storage space, which wasn't ideal for a party setting. The floor was also coming up, which could've been a hazard, but we managed to fix it ourselves and keep the party going.
Despite these quirks, the music wasn't too loud, and we were respectful and cleaned up afterward. No one from the cafe checked in on us, so it's definitely a 'you get what you pay for' situation. Overall, I gave four stars because we made the best of it, had a great time, and most importantly, my friend's smile was worth it all. She...
Read moreToday I visited this coffee place and ordered a Matcha and a tuna sandwich, and I was thoroughly impressed! The Matcha was perfectly balanced—smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, with just the right amount of earthy flavor. It was clear that they use high-quality ingredients, and it was one of the best Matchas I’ve had in a while.
The tuna sandwich was equally amazing! The bread was fresh and lightly toasted, and the tuna filling was flavorful without being too heavy. It had a great mix of textures and tasted homemade, which I really appreciated.
The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a relaxing break, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be returning to try more from their menu!
Highly recommend the Matcha and tuna sandwich...
