This restraunt was absolutely wonderful. From the beautiful setting, lighting and music. I was very very happy. It was actually my fiancé birthday and his family is Brazilian so it was an amazing chance to experience more traditional foods and sweets from their culture. I loved the cooked pineapple, their pineapple mint drink, and their spicy stake. Its so cool and unique how they come around non stop with meats, chicken, lamb and pineapple for everyone to get slices of. I really appreciated the service, they were so understanding and polite, even with me speaking English instead of Portuguese. They made me feel welcomed and understood. I never felt like I couldn't get a waiters help, and they even brought me a fresh plate when I could have gotten up to get one. The food is to die for, its delicious, well cooked and displayed in a very beautiful way. Even the salad bar has so much to experience. I wont lie its very pricy but its money well spent. Its price is also well deserved with the beautiful foods and constant service you receive. I would go here again. Even my fiancé was given so much attention, and he was so full that he couldn't fit the birthday cake they brought him. It was a whole experience, lights going dim, and the cake coming out. Happy birthday writen on it. Everyone was so happy and joyous on his 21st birthday, and its all thanks to the staff. I am sorry I didnt take any photos of the beautiful meats, because we all were stuffing our faces, but makes it an even better experience to go see...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We showed up a little early for our reservation and were promptly seated. For anyone unfamiliar with this style of restaurant, the plethora of beef, chicken, pork, lamb, and shrimp options are prepared in the kitchen by the gauchos and then brought out to the dining floor by the gauchos and served straight to the table from the skewer by the gauchos. The gauchos were incredibly quick to begin serving us and all the meats were prepared and served to our preference (rare to well-done). Every dish was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The wait staff checked on us often, never let our cups run dry, and ensured we always had more of our favorite options sent our way. PJ was our primary server and he was incredibly personable and knowledgeable to offer great suggestions on which dishes to try. The owners were also on the floor this evening and spoke directly to each table in the restaurant. They were friendly and went above and beyond expectations. It was a great dining experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if you are a carnivore. For vegetarians, there are a lot of options on the cold and hot bars, the gauchos served roasted pineapple, garlic bread, and rolled cheese with honey, and there is a large desert menu to choose from to fill any space left after the main course (so don’t pass up the chance for a wonderful...
Read moreWow! Ok, that is the summary! We came for lunch at around 1:30pm. The service was OUTSTANDING! Our personal waiter, Dixon, was attentive without being overbearing. The servers who brought selections of perfectly prepared cuts of beef, pork, chicken, and lamb, were professional and served each portion as each patron requested- rare, medium, etc. A very lovely and friendly woman, Rosa, checked in on us several times and, although I’m jumping ahead of myself, suggested a new dessert not yet on the menu., Tres Leches. As full as we were, I could not resist this homemade confection, and I’m glad I did! To backtrack, we were seated immediately and served wonderful, hot cheesy bread like things that were light and melted in my mouth. We ordered drinks (Argentinian Malbec for me and Brazilian beer for my husband). The salad bar was extraordinary, including freshly prepared and fully stocked items. Just a small idea of the salad bar items: different cheeses and a prosciutto type ham, bean salads, quinoa salad, marinated tomato and olive salad, shrimp, stuffed grape leaves, marinated eggplant salad, several types of lettuce based salads, potato salad, beets, chick pea salad, and many other items that I just can’t remember. The restaurant also has three private rooms and offer package deals for groups. We will...
