I am really happy that Culver's opened up here. I was so excited when I first found out and every time I've come here it's been a great experience. Always SUPER clean on the inside with plenty of seating and employees ready to help. I mean they have a ton of employees lol. I've gotten the butterburger most times and it's incredibly good. Plus I can get a burger, fries, and a drink for only about $8. McDonald's can hardly beat that price and their food is not nearly as good in quality. The food always tastes fresh and hot and everything has been made correctly every time. I've had the custard as well and it's definitely good. My only concern was the one time they added too much mint syrup but it wasn't a deal breaker, I definitely still ate it all. The sweet tea is always good as well, which is surprisingly hard for some places to get right lol. Service is great, if you go in and sit down they'll bring out your food and ask if you need anything else. The drive thru can be slower but nothing too bad. I'm definitely more of a self-serve person but the friendliness of the employees is appreciated for sure. Another huge bonus is the music in the restaurant doesn't blare in your ears. It's nice and quiet and not obnoxious top 100 hits. It's the kind of music anyone could listen to, like oldies hits I guess. So as someone with sensory issues I really appreciate that. Despite the negative reviews, which I don't agree with in my experience, everyone should try this place out. It makes a perfect lunch and dinner spot without dropping a ton of money and that's really important to a lot of people these days. I keep coming back again and again because the food is...
Read moreOn Tuesday Oct. 2, 2024 in the 8:00pm hr, My son an I entered Culver's eager to place order as the food is really good so we approached counter to a Caucasian employee to place order I kindly greeted the lady but no reply nor any eye contact from her either.. we where the only customers in line to be serviced & she didn't acknowledge us standing in line at least 50sec (thats almost a min) ready to order. (She was texting on her cell phone at the front register counter) she rudely turned her head towards the back and verbally/rudely snapped at a coworker to assist us with our orders then she nonchalantly turned around an walked away out of site. I stated to the employee taking my order that she was totally rude for no reason at all & I asked for a manager just to be told that the rude unprofessional individual was the manager. I was appalled so I asked for a number I could call to place a complaint he kindly gave that to me. We received our orders and seated ourselves & checked our food for any unclean tampering. I can only imagine what the Culver's employee serving crew deals with under her managerial supervision. She definitely is in the wrong line of work. The low service score is due to the manager on duty that evening an 2 previous visits my order...
Read moreI was really looking forward to trying Culver’s in North Charleston, but my visit was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that cleanliness and quality were not a priority at this location.
First, the tables and seating area were filthy. I found crinkle-cut fries stuffed between the seat cushion and the back of the booth, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. It makes you wonder what else isn’t being properly maintained.
Then, my burger arrived, and I couldn’t believe how burnt it was. There were holes in the patty from not using enough meat. The patty was overcooked to the point of being nearly inedible, with a dry, charred texture. This wasn’t just a slight overcook—it was completely unacceptable. If this is what they consider good food, I won’t be coming back.
Then we waited twelve minutes to get a kids custard after we ate what we could. We couldn’t wait any longer and gave up on the custard.
Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness and badly prepared food made for a really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Hopefully, management takes these issues seriously and improves both the food quality and...
