On 9/3/2013 @ 4;32 P.M. I took my wife and 5 kids to this McDonald's for dinner. There was a young teenager running the register. I will say I always use my PayPal credit card when we go out to eat 99% of the time. After we ordered the cashier told me to swipe my card. So I did and then for some reason he told me to swipe it again as if it didn't go through so I swiped it a second time and then hit the credit button. If anyone knows anything about how PayPal transactions work, PayPal gives the user of their credit or debit cards an option to receive email notices every time a transaction goes through, which I do use. So I did receive the transaction notices right away on my phone since I receive automatic email notices as well.....and as I suspected they charged me twice. The email notices I received had two different transaction numbers, so they were unique transactions. Well I brought this situation to the attention of a manager and she said I was wrong and the above could not have happened. I told her since their were two PayPal transaction notices from their store one minute apart and the cashier ran my card twice, indeed it Did happen! So she went to get the head manager which appeared to be a lady in her 50's, short, thick with light brown hair (sorry I didn't get her name) and I advised her of the situation and she herself told me it could not have happened because only one receipt came out. Let me say this, the lead manager's demeanor was one of sarcasm and smug. She was smirking the entire time I was explaining the situation to her and shaking her "no" head in a derogatory manner. So I called PayPal right away while we were still at the store to dispute the charge and they verified McDonald's indeed charged me twice and it was on the end of McDonald's in spite of what the manager tried to convince us of otherwise. So I went back to advise the manager what PayPal told me and she Still insisted THEY didn't charge me twice and it was PayPal's fault! Can you believe this?? Obviously that manager is a know it all, and can't handle someone telling her she was wrong. We were customers and we are business owners, and we were treated liked teenagers without any respect whatsoever. She didn't say she was sorry it happened or offer any solution to the problem at all. By the way, when I told her a second time she was wrong after the PayPal phone call she smirked and shook her head "no" again and started whispering to the lower manager that was beside her as I was walking away. Will I go back to that McDonald's? Absolutely not as long as that manager works there. I lost my appetite after all of that and couldn't even enjoy a night out eating with my family because of a manager who could care less about...
Read moreOrdered food on the mobile app at this location. When I got to the restaurant my app froze and it did not give me a mobile order number. So I told the drive thru and they had me pull-up to the window and when I went up to the window they asked me what my order number was and when I told them what happened the employee in drive thru became very rude. At first they found my order but then acted like they didn’t. Then how did you know my name was Ashley? So they had me proceed to the second window where I then spoke to their manager. I showed him my receipt on my email and he thus told me that it was not in their system so therefore they would not be making it. Which of course made me mad because the order had already been taken out of my bank account and I had a receipt. The manager was incredibly rude and did not want to hear what I had to say and was not willing to help me at all. So me and my spouse parked the car and called customer service. They told me to go inside and check one more time to see if my order had popped up. I asked to speak to the manager again and he of course proceeded to tell me that it still wasn’t in their system. That it was out of his hands and therefore not his problem. I feel like I was robbed of both my money, food, and time. When I have gone to other locations and this problem has come up they still made my order because I had a receipt just like this time. This manager should be fired because of the way he spoke to me was both incredibly rude and disrespectful. He obviously needs to be retrained on...
Read moreAvoid this place if possible? Rudeness and nonhospitality traits seems to rule? I ordered 3rd time in 2 weeks. My sticker said how my sandwich was supposed to lack 5 items. They put those things as extra. Even though the ticket said the opposite. My sandwich was laying in ketchup. I asked for no ketchup. It wasn't the microphone it was a mobile order. Then I had to wait in line. I was very kind about it. The girl cut me off after 1st three words. I said wait please. She said, instead of listening, I don't understand. I was very polite and easy to understand. I did drive to the window to be met by the person taking orders and the manager. What's wrong with your order. I showed her my receipt and said they gave extra things and my sandwich is laying in ketchup. Yikes. I had to open my sandwich and show her. I was very kind. She said let me have that. No apology. Just, Drive forward and closed the window. Drive to the next window. I did. A very polite young man waited on me. He should have been the front person. This is to many times messing up my order at this location. I'm always kind to them. But something definitely needs to change here. This location is extremely in distress. I know the district can do better than this. I want to see...
