Wow. Mickey Mantle was my boyhood hero and it pains me to write this but he would agree with me. Could not believe how I was treated. I went there for happy hour , which is advertised on their website as discounted martinis but when I inquired, Michael? the bartender, argued with me. I ordered a call brand martini because he said they weren't on happy hour and asked about happy hour food. He gave me a menu. When I saw that Deep Eddys martinis were included in happy hour, and asked why he didn't tell me about it, I was confronted with disdain and dismissed by Michael and the other bartender. The answer they told me was that the website and menu were outdated. I've been to many high end steak houses and never been treated like it's my fault that the menu was wrong. This is exactly how you don't treat customers. We then moved to a table and Monica did excellent service recovery but I still left feeling abused. $400 bill and no thank you. I then went to the hostess stand and asked who the bartender was and they called a manager over. The manager who was 6"7? And I guess felt like he could intimidate me, would not give me Michael's name even though I already knew it. And made me feel like spending $400 allowed them to treat me this way. I would say that the food is OK but don't go to this restaurant unless you like being treated this way. The management should be ashamed of this. It's been a few a days and I'm wondering why management doesn't have the guts to respond. My prediction is this place will be out of business soon. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I was in town on business and was exploring Bricktown and since I saw the Mickey Mantle Plaza thought it would be nice to eat at his restaurant. I was debating between the Ribeye and the Steak and Cake and my waitress recommended the ribeye. Then she tells me that there is an even better deal with the ribeye and lobster pasta for only $75 and it comes with soup or salad. My waitress recommended the caprese salad; said it’s her favorite so I took her recommendation. The ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in along time but the lobster stuff on top was too salty. Not sure why but my waitress offered me a free dessert. At this point I was bursting at the seams but I wanted something sweet so I got some cinnamon ice cream which was delicious. This was an almost 5 star experience until I got the bill. I was charged $14 for the salad that I though was included with the meal. When I inquired about it I was told that the caprese was an upgrade. I should have been told that upfront because then I would have gone with the regular salad. My waitress did the right thing and took the salad off my bill but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I used to be a waitress years ago and you should always let diners know when there is an additional charge. Plus $14 was the price of the salad by itself. I would think an up charge would be $5 or something. I would definitely go back to this restaurant when I visit OKC again for the ribeye but I won’t order anything off menu.

We came in yesterday to celebrate a special occasion. Our dining experience was horrible and completely unimpressive. Denzel was our waiter. The one star is really for him. He wasn’t friendly from the jump. Very rude and unobservant. We waited an hour & 26 minutes to be able to even order our food. We had empty drinks most of the time. It took so long for us to order, we forgot he hadn’t even been back to take it. I had to ask someone else’s server where in the world he was because we are all starving & he disappeared. When we had appetizers out, he angrily threw them onto the table. Everyone looked at each other in disbelief at his attitude. When our food comes out, he had our order wrong. Someone got a steak & he never asked for the temperature when taking the order. We didn’t realize it. So instead of coming back & asking, he obviously guessed when putting the order into the POS system. It came out well done. It should’ve been rare. YOU ALWAYS REPEAT EVERYONE’S ORDER AS A SERVER! Point. Blank. Period. He didn’t repeat anything. In & out as quick as he could. At the time we were his only table, so there are no excuses for his actions. Also, another person at the table got the fettuccini Alfredo, with chicken and shrimp. They asked what the upcharge would be. Denzel said “oh Ill just charge you for the chicken it’s fine” then charged him $9.00 for the shrimp add on. He specifically asked about this upcharge and got blatantly lied to. 10 minutes after getting our meal, I get asked if I want mine boxed up. Talk about rushing? Everyone had barely taken a few bites. It was extremely insulting to me. A girl at our table tried to ask for another drink three times before she finally got him to pay attention to her, without walking away. He wouldn’t listen to a thing we said. He rudely threw down everything he gave to us. Including when we finally got our food boxed. Everyone at our table was infuriated at him but didn’t want to make a scene, due to the special occasion. He asked if we wanted dessert. We said no. He left. Didn’t ask about separating the checks like he should’ve, whenever we were clearly ready to tab out. We waited another 20 minutes (2 people already had their cards on the table) before he dropped a tab. ALL TOGETHER. Are you kidding me? There’s at least 2 cards on the table. Again. He doesn’t ask. We give him every hint without being rude. He gets more pissed off when we tell him how he needs to separate the checks. His actions ruined our dinner, & it was my first time at the restaurant, & my first impression was horrible. I don’t know if anyone would want another one. We were treated with such disrespect for no reason whatsoever. This was a table of 4 general managers for a clothing company. And myself, who’s been a customer service manager in food service for 5 years. The other were associates. I’ve never had worse service anywhere else. This company should be embarrassed. We...

I wanted to start off this email with a little back story. I’ve been coming to Mickey mantles for almost 25 years, now as a life long yankee fan and Mickey mantle being my favorite baseball player I’ve always been drawn there. I remember celebrating my 10th birthday with you guys, (just celebrated my 32) me and my friend rearranged the silverware and spilt crumbs because the waiters would come and fix everything and we thought it was the coolest (sorry about that) and I’ve never had a bad experience until this Saturday the 17th. We had a party of 9 for 5/17/25 at 7:30 pm we arrived around 7:35 and were shown our table. Two from our party were running a little behind but 7 of the party were sat. We started out ordering drinks and appetizers we ordered two fried pickles and a baked Boursin cheese, the service was extremely slow and inattentive so much so that we actually had an engagement at the table and not only did our waiter not notice but no one noticed, our apps were taken away from the table before we were finished and without asking. The server that sat the food down told me so rudely to move the iPad that my fiance and your friend almost both said something but we were celebrating a birthday and engagement and didn’t want to bring the mood down we went on with our night and ordered dinner. I had the lamp chops my fiancé and MIL both had filets I didn’t notice neither one of them eat very much until it was almost time to go. (When our food was delivered no one was asked to cut into their steak and check their meal or anything of the such) so we asked for to go boxes again this deviated from the norm and our past experiences anytime we have ever asked for to go boxes we were offered for it to be packed up for us not this night we packed our own food and when I looked over at the steaks both ordered medium and noticed they were rare at best I had to say something to our waiter even though my fiancé asked me not to. The waiter looked at his book and looked at his steak and acknowledged how wrong they were. He came out after a good while later and said we really missed the mark on those steaks take 3 free desserts again the general manager never came out and asked how our experience was how the food was nothing even after a large party came in on a Saturday to celebrate a birthday and then also an engagement and that was the experience we received. I was beyond highly disappointing. The service and the food was subpar and I feel like nothing was done to make it right or that yall even cared. You need to be...

Steakhouse Experience: Disappointing with a Saving Grace from our Server.

Service: Intrusive table clearing.

Drinks: Scotch order mishandled, awkwardly fixed. (Not because of our server, however.) The scotch and wine selection itself were good, but the runners mishandled service.

Food: Unevenly cut and cooked Japanese A5 Wagyu, cold dishes, undercooked Brussels sprouts twice.

Positive: Server Corrina was professional, comped dessert and problematic dishes.

Verdict: Despite Corrina's efforts, won't return due to multiple issues.

Rating: 1/5 for everyone and the food, 2/5 if you factor the server's attempts to remedy the unsatisfactory situation.

Details: The best part was our server, Corrina. Which is sad, because from the time our table's extra silverware and plates were cleared, it was rough. The individual who cleared the table was reaching over us, making loud noise with everything they did, and slamming said metal silverware loudly into empty glasses.

I ordered a scotch on the rocks, it came neat. The person who brought the drink said 'sorry I just grab what I'm told' and asked if 'this would do?' I said no thanks, I prefer it on the rocks. He came back and rudely poured regular ice from a cup into the scotch and said 'dont worry, not a drop was spilled!' This is literally comical stuff you'd see on a prank show, not a $430 dinner. When our server brought a second scotch, she provided it with the standard large single ice cube. Which is even common at less high end bars and restaurants. Which is why the food running making those comments was so odd to me, as he poured standard ice into an expensive glass of scotch.

I ordered Japanese A5 Wagyu ribeye and it was unevenly cut and cooked. This was all a reminder that you can order Japanese wagyu online and cook at home for half the cost.

My partner's food was cold and we had a bad order or Brussels come out twice. The server didn't charge us for either as they weren't edible and we're even visible undercooked each time. She also comped dessert which was kind of her. We tipped on the full value as her service was the single redeeming quality of this establishment.

The serve was extremely professional and helpful. Something that can't be said about the rest of the staff as encountered. I would never return unless they got a new chef, new ownership, and better hiring practices and training.

Thank you to our server for helping save the evening as much as possible.

1/5 if not...
