Visited this spot today for their soft opening. It's a fabulous spot to enjoy a cigar in the Inland Empire. VERY well done.
You'll find about 35 places to sit in the lounge, roughly half of which are leather recliners. The other half are leather single chairs and a couple of love seats. The love seats, as I understood it, are there due to the fact that the singles were on backorder. I presume the loveseats will be replaced. While I was there, a new table with some barstools was brought in. So if you're the kind of person that likes to sit high, there's a place for you.
Several big screen TVs cold be found on the wall, but I enjoyed the fact that they had them muted so that you could actually have a conversation with the other patrons. Lovely instrumental music, at a decent volume, was being piped in overhead. The air movement was good, though I might have liked it to be up just a notch. However, I have no idea what all goes into moving that quantity of air. I'll admit ignorance. Just a trifle and nothing to be put off by.
The humidor is beautiful. Well humidified and what I presumed was Spanish cedar shelving. It smelled divine. They didn't have their entire stock in yet, but I'm not surprised as this isn't the Grand opening. That being said, there was still plenty of quality cigars to choose from. They also stock all the necessities up front such as ash trays, lighters, various cutters etc.
Water and soft drinks are available. I saw a few bottles of wine too. I'm in the dark as to whether or not they have a liquor license, so those bottles may have been simply brought in by the regulars. When I asked about drinks he offered me several varieties of soda and water. Nothing was said about alcohol, so I would presume they don't offer that. But don't quote me. There are also individual lockers, which I figure belong to members of the lounge as a personal, onsite humidor.
As a stroke of genius and class, the owners have included a board room for use if you like. A great place to host a poker game, fantasy football draft, or you know, an actual business meeting over some cigars.
The pics I've posted reveal the colors, flooring etc, so there's no need for me to describe them in detail. I'm disappointed that I'm moving soon. This lounge is a place I could visit often enough. It's just beautiful. I'm jealous and wish I was...
Read moreI'll be nice with 3 stars. The cigar selection was good. The lounge was really nice. It was clean, and the customers there were welcoming and friendly. The layout was awesome, and the seats were comfortable and I could see how it would be easy to relax and enjoy your cigar. The reason I'm deducting is because of the way the staff carried themselves this evening. I am a regular cigar smoker and frequently visit various lounges up and down the state. This was my first time here. The person at the register I found to be rude and arrogant. I asked for a few specific cigars to be answered with an abrupt "No". Or if they did have a specific brand I was looking for, I was answered with a point with a look like I was dumb for not seeing the almost empty box tucked away in between 2 same brand cigar boxes. I'm reasonable and can understand someone trying to guide me to a specific stick based on a brief conversation as if I'm a rookie and I'm 100% ok with that. 9/10 I'll probably listen and will try it based on your opinion because I enjoy seeing what other people like. But there was none of that. I was there with a buddy to smoke a cigar the night before his wedding, and that was where he wanted to go. But the attitude moved me from the $38 Placensias down th the sub $20 sticks because I no longer wanted to do business with the person at the counter. Honestly I doubt I will ever set foot in that place due to the customer service alone. Once again great place, poor...
Read moreThe place is very good, humidor is good with variety of brand to choose from, and they are well humidified. Lounge with many couches, recliner and sofa. Very comfortable and relaxing. TVs with sports, movie show and so on. I had a really good time smoke the cigar here. So, the down side is the cigar price is pretty overpriced, and I understand the high taxes, and location, rent, utilities cost to running the cigar shop. But it’s on average about $5 higher than other cigar places I went to around Los Angels, and other town. Compare with the online cigar price, this store is about $7-9 higher than online. I’m saying same brand and same size of cigar. So, it’s okay for me to support local business once a while. But, as a regular cigar shop go to, I’m not recommended, unless you don’t care about money. (It’s just my opinion, maybe I’m poor) Stuff is nice, and be aware they need to check you ID before to walking in the humidor, maybe I’m looking young. (Asian genes, 😂) or maybe something else, but I’m about 40 years old, and it’s makes me feel little bit of odd. Staff will answer your question if you ask, but will not check how’s everything and how’s the cigar. I know some people like this way, some people like more staff friendly type of service. For me, I don’t really care, I smoke my cigar and do my things, check my phone. So, I’m alright. Store also sale drinks such as water, sodas, and maybe alcohol to pairing...
