Corazon Cocina Mexicana — Restaurant in Orlando

We picked this restaurant for the previous reviews. Unfortunately, the restaurant, staff & food did not live up to what we expected. We dined at Corazon on a Thursday evening around 7:30. The restaurant was a little over half full.

The restaurant was clean, we were greeted promptly, & seated. Chips & salsa were placed on our table within 2 minutes of arriving.

At the 15-minute mark, we went back to the reception desk & informed them we have not had a server come to our table. We were seated in a booth. There was a family in the booth next to ours. We saw a female server come to their table 3 times during that first 15 minutes.

We waited 10 more minutes for a server (the same server serving the next booth) to come to our booth.

She did not apologize for our wait. She just asked what we wanted to drink. We informed her there was a roof leak above our table & the water was dripping on one of the benches. She didn't ask if we wanted to move, nor did she acknowledge our comment about the leak.

We ordered waters and cokes, specifically with no lemon. Each was delivered with a lemon.

The food arrived within 10 minutes of placing the order. We ordered a 3 enchilada plate and a 3 combo meal with a quesadilla, hard taco & tamale. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. All of the beef items were extremely wet, not very hot, and just overall, not good.

I truly hate giving bad reviews but felt that I had no choice in this situation. We will not eat her again nor can we recommend...

This restaurant was recommended by Maria. A hotel staff from the hotel across the street. Walking into Corazon Cocina Mexicana the ambience is very beautiful. As soon as you walk through the door you can see the culture surrounding you with a spectacular moment that you're going to experience in this place. The greeting was amazing and very politely by the host. My usual option is to sit at the bar... And I must admit that the bar is fully stocked and the bartender Marcial was ready to offer a great deal of options. Upon waiting for my appetizers, Jaime and Lizzi entertained us with the making of many preparations of specialty drinks that guest have ordered. The service is fast, I didn't wait long to before drinks and appetizers were served. I give Marilu a quick kudos for showing me something that I didn't know it would be a good tradition in this restaurant... And Casar for being one of the newest to the stuff and showing great hospitality.

To my conclusion, The food was delicious, as you see in my pictures, the texture of each dish was fresh and well prepared. I was impressed by the service and the time frame my food was delivered. The stuff is very generous and always willing to ask if you need anything else. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that basically is stopping by the local area of touring... Exceptional Service from Cesar!!

We dined on a Tuesday night for my grandson’s 16th birthday and we were surprised by how busy it was for a weekday. Our party of eight had been seated for some time without being attended to and were actually considering leaving, when Cesar happened to come by to clean a nearby table for another large party.

The moment we expressed our concern, Cesar stepped in without hesitation. He immediately took our order with attentiveness, professionalism, and care. It was clear he was going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of—gracefully stepping into a role that seemed might not have necessarily been his responsibility.

Despite several issues that arose from the kitchen—such as delayed and cold food—Cesar’s exceptional service made all the difference. His patience, attention to detail, and calm demeanor turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a positive experience for my grandson & the rest of the family.

Cesar is a true asset to the team, and we’re grateful for the level of service he provided. He deserves full recognition for handling a hectic situation with such poise...
