I ordered extra sprinkles & did not get them. When I brought it the girl with the red hair attention she said extra was put on my blizzard & anything over 3 scoops is extra (Lying tale wasn’t even there to see & extra is the same portion the blizzard comes with so 3+3=6). She didn’t realize I had been standing there watching as the other brown hair girl was making my blizzard & I saw she did not put extra. The red head girl wasn’t even paying attention, she was making someone’s strawberry smoothie at the time & walking in the back area while my order was being made. I told her I’ve ordered from this location & it was definitely not the same so she reluctantly told the guy to put some sprinkles on top. I started to just ask for a refund because I knew once I past the top of the blizzard there’d be no more sprinkles. I attached a pic which is a half eaten blizzard that has melted. I no longer wanted it because it’s just regular ice cream atp. Bottom line this location cost are higher than other locations & I know it’s because it’s a tourist area. However, ppl want what they’ve paid for so stop lying & give ppl what they paid for. It’s the right thing...
Read moreI went to Diary Queen and tried 2 of the 5 summer blizzard treats. The featured treats are Peanut Butter Puppy Chow, Oreo Brookie and returning favorites S'mores, Cotton Candy, and Choco-Dipped Strawberry. I had the S'mores one and after being reassured it had no dog food in it, lol ,I had the Peanut Butter Puppy Chow. It was served in the traditional manner. Turned upside and then handed to you right side up.. This is the only food that ever can be served like this. Otherwise it gets very messy. Peanut Butter Puppy Chow is made with with crispy puppy chow pieces, peanut butter topping, choco chunks and all those flavors blended together was great. The S'mores blizzard treat had marshmallow-filled chocolate bars and graham cracker blended in the Blizzard treat. Was a great tasting treat like the Puppy Chow one. Treat yourself to...
Read moreMight be the nostalgia but this dairy queen is great. Hot chili dog, hot fries, cold crisp soda. Great service, friendly polite staff, etc. They even made me an off menu older blizzard - Georgia mud fudge, my old favorite - with chocolate ice cream, brownies, chocolate syrup and pecans. There's a mask mandate and a social distance rule, which I appreciate.
Bathrooms could be cleaner, but it's a dairy queen on north I-drive so it's not a big issue for me, I'm just glad they had one. There's no men's room, instead there's a unisex/family restroom, so if you're trans or nonbinary you can use that, and it functions as the men's room too.
Oh, and the food was great too. Hot fries, hot chili dog, cold crisp soda that wasn't flat or low on syrup, and a great nostalgic blizzard.
Edit: still good. Good chicken fingers...
