Rubio's Coastal Grill — Restaurant in Palmdale

Fresh made to order! I always get their "Grilled Gourmet Taco w/ Steak". It has WONDERFULLY flavored sauces that makes the steak taste AMAZING, as well as ❤crunchy cheese❤, BACON, fresh made guacamole & they happily hold the onions for me but still put on cilantro. Their fish taco & white sauce is wonderful too; the best I have had in the Antelope Valley. Their chips & salsa are both fresh made & excellent! I wish they would bottle their salsa for sale but that would require preservatives & might change the taste. Their staff are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, & skilled. I always find the dining room & restrooms well maintained & clean @ the Rubio's (Adjacent to Party City, Trader Joe's, & Bed, Bath, & Beyond. This is the worst Rubio's I have ever been to. I placed an order for pick-up and arrived at the said time, I get there and this rude guy named either Jose or Juan was rude as hell and said they didn't even put it in yet. Said it'll take 5 minutes. I went outside waited 5 and it still wasn't ready, in fact they just started making it as I walked in. I felt it was a discrimination thing after that because they were all giving me dirty looks, giving out other's orders that were after me, and were very rude to me. When we ate the food is was disgusting! All 4 of us could barely eat it, in fact we threw most away it was so bad. Delicious chicken quesadillas and flavorful mahi mahi tacos! The fish is outstanding and very fresh..I wanted the shrimp but they were about to close so had a choice between beef or chix. The salsa bar was still very fresh and this was about 10 min before closing. A young man, Stephen, the manager was very friendly and welcoming despite close to shuttering up for the night. I love the Rubio's chain and frequent the Torrance and Marina Del Rey since I live by the beach, but whenever I go up to the mountains, this Rubio's Palmdale hits the spot every time..
