There are two reasons for it not being 5*. The cons: First, the service was spotty. Waited a long time to get the server, then later he would walk past and fill other table's waters, but not ours...and the restaurant wasn't full. Second, the elk was tough - twice. This is not the server's fault, but the chef's. I had had the best elk tenderloin the previous night at Twisted Fern. The pros: The wine selection was good by the glass. The charcuterie plate was fan-tas-tic. I only wish I had been served more than the heel of the loaf of (very tasty) wheat bread. My husband had the mushroom pasta which was wonderful. The accompaniments with the elk were wonderful, but the elk was tough (overcooked the first time). They did redo it and was cooked to temp (med. rare), but it was still tough. Besides the charcuterie, the BEST thing was the apple beignets. They are fried, battered apple slices served with both a decadent caramel and a vanilla creme anglaise.

It pains me to say anything negative about Courchevel. We’ve been coming here for years and it has been one of our favorite restaurants, but something has changed and not in a good way. Sadder still it has me rethinking ever going again. The past couple of times has been less than stellar. One night we sat at the Chef’s table and were completely forgotten by our waiter, the food was fine, the service was awful. Then tonight we took friends who had never been there and it wasn’t great either. We were completely rushed through the service from the second we sat down. We couldn’t enjoy having a cocktail on the patio with friends and the Brie appetizer before choosing our meals, everything had to be ordered at once, which is weird, but also so they can rush you through everything. The bread came out and was undercooked and doughy. The entrees were fine, but we had to repeat ordering drinks multiple times to each person who rushed to clean our plates away. The whole experience was off putting. We ordered coffee and instead of the French press coffee, we were served watered down instant coffee and no offer of cream or sugar, not that it would’ve helped. We also placed our order for the cherry clafoutis, and it came out burned on the outside and uncooked in the middle and there wasn’t an ask if there were any other dessert or after dinner drink requests. Their patio is great, you can’t beat Park City in the summer, but there are so many other places that take care of the guest as opposed to turning the table as fast as you can. It hurts my heart to think we probably won’t go again, but it’s just not worth it. Too many other amazing places to eat, to have...

I was quite unhappy with my experience at this place. The service was fine, the food came out fast, the problem was the most important thing. The food. Starting with the good, their pork belly cheese appetizer was decent and I enjoyed it, but it was all downhill from there. I ordered the steaks and frites and I really think I ordered the wrong thing because it was just lame. Firstly it was bland I don’t know if they even seasoned the steak and there was barely any sear on it. The steak cost around a finger off my hand so I expect every bite to put a smile on my face but it did the opposite. Also, the big fries were just bland dry potato. I had to shower the entire dish with salt. I saw they had regular fries that looked good, but what I had was worse than fast food fries. The best part of my main course was the creamed spinach and that is very sad. I lost a good chunk of money on this dinner I expected to be the best of the entire trip, but my hotel had better food. This had to be one of the most bland steaks I have ever had and I am very unsatisfied. The extra star is for the server who was attentive, and the appetizer which was decent. Other than this, very unhappy and I do not recommend coming here. Maybe their wine is good? I didn’t try it but they had a huge selection. I try to find positives to feel better about all the money I wasted but it is hard. Win some lose some, this was definitely a loss. I recommend eating at your hotel instead if it came down to...

This restaurant has gone from my least favorite to one of my top picks in Park City!!! When they originally opened, they went for traditional French, super heavy and not a menu that appealed to most. But we Heard they had to switch things up so we gave it another try about a year later and were blown away. They have completely revamped the menu and it is more reminiscent of French bistro. We loved the mussels, fish and short rib. There were several other things on the menu I wanted to try so we will be back soon!

Service was fantastic!

Location and atmosphere are great! If you are a member of the Talisker club, you can request sitting in the private area downstairs which is very cozy. Upstairs in the main room is open to the public and it is very nice also. The thing about this restaurant as you could come here for date night, or bring the whole family.

If you have not been back since they first opened, I would definitely recommend trying again because it’s not the same restaurant we remembered from a year ago.

Courcheval now ranks right up there with our other favorite restaurants in town like river horse and Fletchers. But the price points on the menu are more reasonable, yet the food, atmosphere and service are...
