I usually come here with my coworkers from the hospital and was always happy. I came to the city this morning for an appointment and since school was closed my 14 yr old daughter tagged along. I took her here to enjoy a slightly different breakfast Sammy on a rainbow bagel with bacon no egg, I ordered a breakfast Sammy on a sesame bagel and two ice lattes. I paid the money cash and sat down waiting patiently for the order enjoying the snow with no hurry. Something was really off with the cashier she seemed out of it, I looked at my receipt and the order was all wrong so I just approached her to say my receipt says this but I ordered this and she got so mad. I kept my composure and waited to get our sandwiches my daughters had egg and I didn’t even get a Sammy but a bagel with cream cheese? So I said nicely I’m sorry this isn’t what I ordered and mind you I still hadn’t got my lattes yet. She said she didn’t charge me for bacon then says rudely I need to give her more money my receipt clearly said I paid $2 extra for bacon for my daughters so I started to pay for mine now the receipt says I paid $2.76 for a hash brown ?? Um I thought I was paying $2 for bacon anyway I could tell she was not acting normal so I just sat down again trying to enjoy my time with my daughter she then says for the third time my order is ready and it was still completely wrong not even anything near what I ordered then says my hot lattes are done I’m like I don’t understand why we keep getting the wrong order she then gets really loud and nasty saying I’m giving her an attitude all while all I’m trying to do is get what I paid $31 for at this point I just ask for my money back she tells me ok your cards been credited. I’m like are you feeling ok? I paid cash you have the receipts in your hand mind you, you overcharged me and said $2.76 hashbrown was same as $2 bacon I was so concerned about this girl she kept saying she was the only one there and I clearly saw 5 other employees?? Then she tried to hand me literally a fistful of coins I was like what are you doing I gave you $31.13 that’s what you need to refund me she starts yelling at me claiming she has a customer and I’m like what can I just have my money she throws $25 at me then tells me to give her $40 back after a lot of back and forth I finally was able to get my refund $4 short mind you my daughter was horrified of how terrible this cashier was honestly she doesn’t belong dealing with not only money in any way but people just disgusted of how terrible she was and she was the one who refused to get two breakfast Sammy’s and two ice lattes it wasn’t that difficult I be surprised if she didn’t take money from the register the way she was acting I told my coworkers and a lot of us won’t be back just terrible experience. i am repeatedly disappointed by this place. the signage is wildly misleading. the pricing listed doesnt make sense. it says $2.50 for a bagel with cream cheese but then has another $2.50 tacked on at the end. it is very confusing. a "small" cream cheese container is actually the size of a side cup and this isn't made clear before you pay. a bagel egg sandwich is listed as one price but then they upcharge for the bagel and the cream cheese that comes on it. the cost of specialty cream cheese is insanely overpriced for what you get and its almost as if they intentionally do it this way. i was excited when i saw there were GF bagels but there is no way a tiny GF bagel with cream cheese is worth over $7. i will not be returning due to how frustrated i get and ripped off i feel every single time. the only thing positive about this place is the friendly queer employees who are not at fault for this deceptive business model. they give out "free coffee" coupons to show appreciation for healthcare workers but then have fine print that requires you to pay these crazy prices for the bagel first. would not recommend this...

Good thing $8 isn’t the end of the world, because it was completely wasted today at this shop. Immediately upon arriving someone shouted “we only have Oreo bagels” no hello or even looking at us which was so welcoming. We were there for coffee. I asked if I could get a honey latte with almond milk and the girl said “we’re out.” She seemed like I was doing her a dis service by even coming into the shop. I asked for caramel instead- and she said so an iced caramel latte with almond milk. I was waiting for her to ask me hot or iced so I said actually can I get it hot please. She looked up from the screen shook her head and said “Well you need to say that.” $8 for the coffee to be filled so far the lid is leaking everywhere- the coffee tasted like vomit and had hair in it.
