Matt's Saloon — Restaurant in Prescott

I love Matt's Saloon❤ Cash only but they do provide an ATM if you forget to stop by the bank🤣 Karaoke is on Sunday and Wednesday nights 7 pm to Midnight with Chris and Hayley. They're great and I'm really happy they are hosting here. I'm a bit biased but before we became friends I met them the same way you will, singing at karaoke 🎤 when they were hosting. The bartenders are great: Sandy,Taylor, and Sierra and can't forget Dalton! They keep us all in line if they need to but sling drinks as quickly as they can to keep us Buzzing with excitement 🤣

It's such a wonderful piece of history on Whiskey Row. You will find all kinds of pictures on the walls including Theodore Roosevelt when he stopped in Prescott years ago😳

They have Live bands, dance nights mostly country with some hip hop thrown in sometimes. I wish they would have a hip hop night again. I would go for sure! We get to dance some on Karaoke nights and it's always a blast. What I like about this place is you never know who is going to show up and what's going to happen. You might see someone run from one end of the bar to the next with the mic singing their song🤣 or you could hear someone singing I got friends at Matt's Saloon " instead of low places" true story! It happened last night.

One pool table in the back. They don't serve food but they try to keep bags of chips and nuts or trail mix on hand for sell for those of you who get the munchies. You're allowed to bring your own food but NEVER your own beverages. Dog friendly but keep in mind other dogs could show up so if your dog absolutely doesn't like other pets you may not wanna bring them along. So far any dogs I see there are Chill and just check out other dogs with no fights occurring.

One more thing it's also Prescott's only place to do Off Track Horse...

Been to this bar acouple of times already, not bad, my last time coming in they flagged my valid driver license, that I just renewed, told me it was a fake and wouldn't return my property, a few days later I showed up with a sheriff to validate and retrieve my property that Matt's saloon has STOLEN from me, after the sheriff told them it was a valid license, he than starts to tell us he doesn't know where it is, after Matt's security making me and the very nice officer sit around and waste time he tells us they gave it to the owner. The sheriff said they were supposed to do their diligence and have a peace officer validate it, they did not do that, it has been 3 weeks since I've brought that sheriff to get my license back and still nothing, security took down my number but has yet to even try to return my property that they have STOLE. Wednesdays (and Sundays, but, I only go on Wednedsdays) is karaoke, Thursdays is line dancing classes, and Fridays is 2-step dancing classes. Come sing your hearts out from 7 PM-midnight on Wednesdays (and Sundays, plus we do not care if you can sing or not, I cannot carry a tune, but, I love to sing me some Sheryl Crow or Paula Cole), on Thursdays it is line dancing classes, $5 for both classes, 6 PM-7 PM (beginner), 7 PM-8 PM (intermediate), and it is with an amazing dance instructor (we do not care if you are a beginner), and then on Fridays we have 2-step classes, again $5, 6 PM-7:30 PM, and with another amazing dance instructor (again, we do not care if you are a beginner).
