Went to Topsy Turvey this past weekend - I never leave poor reviews, but this experience was worthy of the time. We arrived for brunch and there was a wait for a table. Our whole party got drinks at the bar as we waited (and each of us tipped the bartender). When we were seated at our table, it was in the sun and very hot and humid. We ordered food, but it got even warmer as we waited. Two of my party found seats back at the bar in the cool shade and took their food there when it was ready. They were then asked by the same bartender why they were sitting there as they were "taking up her tips." There were other open seats at the bar the whole time they ate their food, so in reality they weren't "taking" any seats. Apparently the fact that we were paying customers at the establishment wasn't good enough for her (and the fact that we all tipped her earlier wasn't good enough either). Incredibly rude. Definitely wouldn't recommend.. many other friendlier options at Put in Bay. Happier humans at Frosty's, Pasquale's, etc equals...

DON’T EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS “RESTAURANT” My wife and I walk in. It’s very slow with just a couple of other people in the restaurant. Took a few minutes to be greeted. The server was nice enough. No complaints there. The view out to the bay was great. However the restaurant looks terrible. Stapled drawn on dollar bills cover the walls, but maybe that’s the theme. Ceiling is torn in several places where it appears that the insulation is falling out...and into your food. Flies and gnats everywhere that wouldn’t leave us alone. The coffee tased absolutely disgusting. I drink my coffee black it that tells you anything. And lastly the food. It’s overpriced by far with the quality it is. I very rarely regret eating somewhere because even if the service is bad, the food is at least okay. Well no, the food was nasty and bland. And battling flies while trying to eat subpar food is just not worth it. Also the bathroom was out...
