The location of this Starbucks is perfect, a great spot to enjoy a coffee. Unfortunately, the experience with the baristas was not as pleasant. I visited around 8:30 a.m. on a weekday. There was one person ahead of me placing an order, and a middle aged woman was taking it. After that customer was done, the barista simply walked away from the counter.
There was no one behind me, and I stood there waiting. Two (one who was in the counter) middle aged baristas started chatting. We even made eye contact, but neither of them acknowledged me. I waited for about two minutes, unsure of what was happening. I eventually turned to leave, and that is when one of them finally came over to take my order.
I asked for a small drip coffee. She held up a Grande and short cup and asked which one I wanted. I was not sure if she was being funny, sarcastic, or expecting me to use the Starbucks language. I also ordered a lemon cake. Rather than reacting to her mockery i stepped away.
At the pickup counter, no one called out my name or the order. It was just left there, which I found surprising. In all my visits to Starbucks across different locations, I have never encountered this kind of service. To be clear, the store was not busy at all.
I am not sure if the baristas were having an off day, but this was definitely not up to the usual Starbucks standard. Best of luck to the store manager, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others. Phrases that other SB: "I will be right there with you", before a blatantly moving away from counter. Let's make life simple. If a person is having a off day do not unload it on customers. yes vice versa is...
Read moreI don't usually talk negatively about a place I've been but I can tell the staff is overworked and there's some things falling through the cracks. Ordered a vente, received a grande. Had to wait until the drive through was more clear before anyone would take my order in the lobby. This ones just an opinion but I ordered a salted caramel frap, was told the salted caramel was seasonal- legitimate but nonsensical considering salted caramel doesn't fall into any particular season. The staff seemed to be a bit more focused on the drive through than the guests in the store. In my own experience, a guest in front of you takes priority over a drive through order. And it's Starbucks so I wasn't expecting good coffee by any regard- definitely lived up to that very non-existant expectation but the sugared down flavor was still not enough to mask the burnt flavor of coffee grounds. This is just my humble opinion but the manager needs to step up the quality of this location, unfortunately, I was not impressed. I did want to shout out Jessie and Rowan for their obvious hard work tackling such a busy time of day and providing me otherwise excellent hospitality. ...
Read moreDo not go to this location and pay in cash. This afternoon May 3rd 2018 at 3 pm I ordered a Carmel frappacino and payed in cash they didn't ask for my name and give me a receipt since I payed at the store register. And waited for 12 minutes to get my order while the five or so people behind me payed with card and got their orders or large orders before me. The people behind the counter clearly saw me standing there for a long time and didn't ask me what I was waiting for until I told the fifth guy who was in a business suit "This is ridiculous 12 minutes for a carmel frappacino." And after I said that to the buss the guy whose aprion said Steven finally asked me what I got and didnt bother to ask if I paid with cash. And I said I paid with cash and they were about to give away my order that said on the sticker: Carmel Frappacino said with cash 3:00 pm cash register 2.
Apparently it was done for a while and didn't bother to hand it out since it didn't have a name.
I am never going back to Starbucks ever again even if the corporation paid me with free frappacinos.
