Subway — Restaurant in Rexburg

The one guy here was.. rude? I went in close to closing time, not realizing the closing time listed online here is apparently inaccurate. The open sign was on and employees were behind the counter, appearing to make a sandwich for someone sitting in the lobby. I walked in, and as he’s making this other girl’s food, announces the store is actually closed. Maybe I misinterpreted the scene, but the store appeared to be showing every sign of life, and maybe he didn’t mean to come off in a negative way, but just how he said it while seemingly making food for someone else made me feel very awkward and embarrassed. I did see the store has listed it’s real opening/closing times on a small piece of paper taped to one entrance, but it’s written in very pale orange marker that is almost impossible to make out in dimming daylight hours. When I worked at a Subway, we turned off our “open” sign and locked the door when we were done serving customers for the day. Maybe it would be good if these employees enacted the same practices to avoid further confusions. Oh, and put a readable sign up...

Today was the last time I step foot in this Subway. I couldn't believe how rude they were. I went in to order sandwiches of two other people I ordered the first one and waited to hear from the other. As I waited to hear from the second person they walked away, though I told them I wanted to order another. Then I had to wait for them to return when I was already ready. When they return so I could order the second sandwich they were rude, as if I was a horrible person for staying and continuing to buy more food. They slammed everything into the sandwich and threw my credit card back at me, made me feel like I was trash and unwanted. I called to speak to the manager later and she didn't seem to think that there was a problem and asked me what I thought she should do. Well maybe you should know what to do because you are manager? And maybe try not to be a dick to...

I don’t usually leave reviews unless something is really, really good…or really, really not. Unfortunately, today fell into the second category.

I ordered online, showed up right on time, and was excited for my American Club on hearty multigrain. Except what I got was less “hearty” and more “hardy,” as in- hardy enough to build a small cabin with. The bread was so rock hard I felt like I needed a chisel and safety goggles. I gave it my best bite, but my teeth and my jaw both protested. After a few heroic attempts, I had to throw it away.

To add insult to injury, the inside of the sandwich looked like it had been on a diet and there were barely any meat or veggies to be found. I’ve had decent experiences at this location before, so I know this isn’t the norm, but this one was rough.

Please, for the sake of teeth everywhere, check the bread before...
