First of all, I love having a Verizon so close and even 2 in Rexburg total. However, I normally go to the other location, and I will from now on. I know some of the employees work at both but I have always had bad experiences at this one and this was the last straw. I went in and there were about 5 employees working. I however received the new guy. I know all people need to get in and try it but it took him FOUR hours to get me a new phone. I was in their waiting and waiting. And it wasn’t because we were having problems, he was dancing around, playing with the radio, etc. His manager was there but helping a customer, so when my associate had a question (of which he had a million) he had to interrupt his manager. I only got out of the store because I told him I had a commitment in an hour. He comments on my way out “would you believe that was my first time doing that on my own?!” HA! Yes, yes I can. ALSO he stressed to me that I should buy into their screen protector plan, and that my activation fee would be bundled in.
It comes time to pay my bill, and my activation fee IS NOT bundled in. It’s just added to my account. If I would have known that, I wouldn’t have gotten their stupid screen protector plan.
They need to do a MUCH better job at training their employees. Once I get my phone paid off, I’m leaving Verizon all together. I’m sick of their bogus fees, and I feel like every time I get a new phone, for years now, my bill isn't how they...
Read moreI originally had this at a 5 but only because the associate (Curtis) pressured me to do the review on the spot while he watched me and told me what to say before allowing any further service. I originally came in to purchase an iPhone 8 but lost around 30 minutes of time because of the associate trying to pressure me to buy accessories that I clearly stated I did not want. His remarks followed by allowing me to know he makes his commission off of mainly accessories. He also used MY phone for a calculator when he he had an iPad and his phone he could of used as well and he made me time my visit, again on MY phone, to prove a point that he would have the visit under a certain time frame and it ended up being almost double what he promised. I came in with my phone because it would not turn on so he tried charging it for me and when it didn’t work he held it by the cord upside down and tried to spin it around. I asked him to get a manager when I initially walked in to assist me multiple times and he assured me he could help me and he ended up going to the manager for all the questions I had in order to see if he was answering my questions right. Overall, I was very unimpressed. I’d rather have the inconvenience of going to the store down the street instead of going here again if they allow such unprofessional employees...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences with this store. Me and my wife decided to upgrade her phone to the newest Galaxy phones with the trade in deal. The employee was very nice and willing to work with us and talked us out of a deal that was directly from samsung. They gave us verbal agreement that if we first get my wife's apple account unlocked by apple then they will allow the trade and not charge us for the entire phone so we agreed and signed on for the phone. It took apple an entire month to unlock her phone and there was nothing we could do about it. When we went in to give them her phone they said that the deal ended that day and we wouldn't be able to get it. The employees also didn't show any positivity and we feel that they were only nice to us because they wanted the sale on the phone, and after that, they couldn't care less. They emailed Verizon to see if we could still get the original deal that we agreed upon and after two months of jumping through hoops we were told that we would have gotten the deal if we just left the phone at the store at the date of purchase but since we were told by employees different than there was nothing they could do. Now we are paying over $200 dollars more than we originally signed up for on a two year plan and I have no interest to...
