Taco Box — Restaurant in Rexburg

UPDATE: Dang Taco Box is so easy to get to and see, so it's hard to drive past without stopping to eat. Oh, man, those red tacos are delicious. You gotta go. I wish a long time ago somebody had slapped me and asked, "Why haven't you tried Taco Box yet?" Because it took me until today to go there. We had a variety of food, and ended up bringing lots of leftovers home because, dang, there's like half a steer's worth of beef in each item. I kept taking a bite, then looking back at the menu prices, then taking another bite in confusion about how they offer such value. The birria is awesome--even if your tacos or quesadilla is already red. The only downside is that there's no picnic table nearby, so you gotta take it home. Pro tip: Madison Armory has some beautiful grass on the south side of the building. We parked over there and ate picnic-style. Sort of difficult given the sloppiness of red tacos and birria, but it was a beautiful evening and the grass was comfortable. Try a picnic! Or just take it home, because Taco Box food will definitely travel well. Highly recommended. Go slap your friend and ask why he hasn't tried...

I live in Provo but make the drive up almost every weekend just for the Taco Box. My girlfriend thinks I drive up for her every weekend but in reality, its for the Birria tacos. I am originally from California and come from a Mexican background so when I was told that a place in Rexburg Idaho had good authentic food, I didn't believe it one bit. Boy was I wrong!! No joke these are the best Birria tacos I have ever had and the customer service is phenomenal. Today as we were eating, we watched the owner walk with someone all the way back to his apartment just so he didn't have to struggle to carry all of his food by himself. Such great people and such great food would give it 50 stars if I had the option. I refuse to believe that any rational person could leave a bad review on this place, 11/10...

Mexican food has always been my favourite so naturally I'm critical of the quality. I can say without a doubt the tacos here are by far the best tacos I've ever had, the chimichangas are very good and the quesadillas are incredible. The flavor of their food is incredible and always fresh and piping hot. In addition the service I receive every time I go is among the best I've ever personally seen. I hadn't gone for a while and when I went to get food yesterday they remembered me and asked how my baby has been doing. Not only is their food incredible but they treat you like family and take care of you. Easy 10/10! I wish these guys the best in life and I hope they're able to...
