I walked into this new bagel shop with the enthusiasm of someone who has gone a month without her favorite asiago bagel and garden veggie cream cheese from Soleil. The menu promised me both. Reality delivered me neither. When I placed my order, I was informed—at 8 a.m., no less—that they were out of garden cream cheese. A bagel shop running out of cream cheese before most people have finished their first cup of coffee feels like a bakery running out of flour. Disappointed but committed (mostly because I’d dragged my husband along), I subbed in garlic cream cheese out of pure curiosity and carried on. The décor tried for rustic charm, but between the garbage can tucked under the bar where people eat, a wobbly bar stool that turned sitting into a rodeo event, and a communal table decorated with three large rusty screws jutting through the surface like industrial acne, my appetite was already slipping. After a 15-minute wait—for a bagel with cream cheese—we finally got our food. My bagel arrived… sort of toasted? Maybe? Parts were lukewarm, parts cold, and parts suspiciously fridge-chilled. The garlic cream cheese was slathered on so thick that even I—someone who likes a generous schmear—scraped off at least six tablespoons. My dog will probably consider that pile the highlight of her week, but I’m still strategizing how not to offend my coworkers with my breath for the rest of the day. In the end, what could have been a charming little breakfast spot left me longing for Soleil, where the bagels are warm and toasty, the garden vegetables are crunchy fresh in the cream cheese, and the tables don’t come with a side of tetanus. This place may share a name style with Teton Sourdough Co., but trust me, the...

Got to the food truck at about 8am on Friday morning, ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and 2 bagels with cream cheese.
Young, nice, kid worked the truck by himself. Was told they don't have everything bagels today, ok bit of a bummer, but no problem. However, curious that its morning and they didn't make everything. Remember this later!
Placed my order and was given a buzzer, went back to car and waited, no joke, 30 minutes. Buzzer went off and went back to trailer and a new young guy appears and they said sorry its not ready, but we don't have plain cream cheese so what else did I want. Now we are down to just garlic, cinnamon sugar, and strawberry. Yeah...from a bagel place.
I choose, knowing deep down that my kids aren't gonna like it, but I've already paid, so here we are. I ask new guy what is up with all the missing stuff, and he said they haven't been restocked yet. I ask, somewhat snarkily, what day do you guys actually have everything and he straight faced says Tuesdays.
Get home with the bagels, kids are upset, wife is upset cause she didn't get avocado on her bagel, which I payed for, one sandwich was missing cream cheese and none of the bagels are toasted.
Yeah, that is after 45$ on 5 bagels that were, at best, made...
Read moreThe breakfast bagel I had was amazing! Super delicious, well made, good ingredients and not too expensive. Overall the food was great! A friend and I went here this morning and we’ve been trying to find this location and it was kinda hard but it’s located IN barbershop pop. We really enjoyed our food, and the service was good, plus there really isn’t a good place in Rexburg for just a quick breakfast other than maverick or sometimes Mrs.Powell’s, so we are very happy to see Teton Bagel! Our ONLY problem is that it’s located INSIDE a barbershop! I definitely didn’t like smelling all the barbershop chemicals mixed with breakfast and I’m sure they are clean, but I can’t help but think that there is most certainly some hair in my food because there isn’t any full wall or divider between the barbershop area and the food. I’m sure I’ll go back, but it’s hard to overlook the fact I’m getting food inside of...
