On a recent work trip, I stumbled upon the cutest, coziest, tiniest bar (around 20 seats?) I’ve ever been to, and I love it! For a moment there, I thought I might as well be in a tiny speakeasy bar in NYC! Perfect for a drink or two, after work, happy hour (M-F 5-7p), pre-dinner, & post dinner night cap! The bar program was creative and made me want to try every thing. Wish I had discovered this bar much earlier. Apparently they would change their menus every few months. I had the Jezebel’s Joint which was a mezcal drink. Very well-balanced & flavorful. I highly recommend this bar, if you ever wanted high quality crafty cocktails in Sacramento. The next night, I went back for a different cocktail, Parlay, a pineapple rum with coconut liquor & locally sourced blackberry tincture. So yummy, felt like I was beach side under a cabana ā˜ŗļøOther than spirits, this bar got great selection of whiskies & interesting lesser-known wines too. Got a cutest patio in front. It's a casual cozy friendly neighborhood bar with quality drinks. Situated next to a big garage and there usually street parkings available. Walking distance from many hotels nearby.

This place is teeny tiny but bursting with character. I swear the Grand has the most creative cocktail menu in town, and that's saying a LOT. There's always something completely new that I've never had before but fits my tastes perfectly. A friend who has completely opposite tastes feels the same way. It's a highly curated, extremely thoughtful, wholly original menu that changes seasonally. The bartenders are always interesting and full of stories. I don't usually enjoy sitting at the bar, but I ALWAYS try to sit at the bar here and it's always a good time. The only thing that's a bit sketch is to get to the bathroom you have to go up and into a parking garage. Worth it though. Some of my favorite nights on the town in Sacramento have included the Grand.

Ok selection of bubbles, wines spirits, and craft drinks. We ordered a bottle of champagne and he delivered it RAW. The bottle was sitting on the table without ice, literally raw. I asked to use restroom and I was coached on how to turn the key since it's finicky...no big deal thank you. What I didn't like was the threat after the "instructions" that if I numbered one outside the bathroom he'd hate to 86'd me. Lol. I'm being threatened now... when the WHITE couple didn't get that spiel. Meh.

After having an awesome dinner at Hyatt Regency, took a walk and went to this place and asked for a beer. The bartender who name is most likely Karen answered she has no beer. Only mix drink asked for a mix drink and said no. Asked for wine and she answered that she is not going to serve me and not going to tell me why. The customers were confused & one told her to serve me & her face became red & just started to shake her head as if she was having a seizure. Went to the bar across the street and was told that they seem to have an issue with men. How can this place still be in business, or has the law changed & now businesses can discriminate against you for your gender? Have attempted to call the owner but just goes to a full mail box. Pretty sure this place has lot of complaints w/the BBB, 🤣 Response to Owner which has phone issues. I was there on April 12, 2025 between 11:15 p.m. - 12:10 a.m., check ur video also the security guards across the street know about her not wanting to serve men & there other customers there that were upset. Your bar is really small. Better check your...
