This review is more about the vibe and how I was personally treated more than how they made there drinks or conditions of the the place. I went here with my wife for a quick stop on the way to park. My wife wanted water just WATER. I went inside and showed them my ID and my wife and I are of age, The bar tender couldn't figure out what was up with my ID. Both me and my wife got our ID's when we were 18 and in a different state. Most places have scanners to verify your ID. The bar tender failed to see when look and see when our ID's were issued. He tookour ID's and told us they were fake. His reasoning for this is because our ID's were up right and not sideways. This was bassed off a book he was holding. In the state we are from you dont not get a sideways ID's unless it was issued and 21 and up. I want to reiterate that we were 18 when ID's were issued. Of the bar tenders told my wife he was an ex cop and he knew what he was doing. Clearly he didn't. My wife and I have never and an issue with out ID's. Ive been pulled over and had my ID scanned by cops in this state, I've been to other bars and they SCANNED my card and my wifes card and surprise no issues. They treated me and my wife awful and made her cry. We had to call the police to try and get our ID's back, however they ended up giving us back our ID's but after we told them we called the police. Im not sure if it was a race, incompetence thing or a issues with our relationship type, but i know it...
Read moreI visited Johnny's for the first time this weekend and had such a discouraging, unpleasant, and overwhelmingly negative experience from the beginning. My husband ordered one drink, the tab was closed, and the Bartender became irritated that we did not communicate to keep it open. I tried to order a beer and shot. When I asked what kind of beer they had, it was communicated to me that, "If you don't know what you want, I can't help you." & moved on. The Bartender's treated all customer's as if they were an inconvenience. I was playing pool and was unsure if I could send my girlfriend to get me a drink. We asked a girl that worked there that happened to be walking by. She communicated that that was fine. My girlfriend came back with out a drink and relayed that the bartender said, "No way" and that his co-worker was a "f*ing idiot". It was awkward. Lastly, when I went to close my tab, I couldn't because I gave them my Husband's card and he needed to be present. As a customer, if there is a lot of "etiquette" that I am missing and don't understand I don't feel this is the way I will learn. I was so torn because I genuinely appreciate and support local bartenders actively and generously. And, no, it doesn't feel good to leave a bad review. It was difficult to order a drink and pay the bill. The customer service was awful. I won't...
Read moreDO NOT GIVE THIS BAR YOUR MONEY!!! THEY PHYSICALLY ASSAULT CUSTOMERS WITHOUT ANY REASON!!!!!! I was just physically and verbally assaulted at Johnny’s and I’m in the process of filing a police report, but I feel the need to warn other possible customers. The bartender, Caelyn, refused to serve my friend a drink when we were paying on the same tab. I voiced that this was the second time she has done this during the night. She proceeded to pin security on me. The security guard got in my face and before saying anything, grabbed my phone out of my hand in the most aggressive way possible when I tried to take a video of how he was treating me and refused to give me my phone back. He then proceeded to scream and spit in my face. His name is Nicholas Velarde. I’ve never been more disturbed by how I’ve been treated. I have worked in the food industry for over 6 years and would never imagine treating a paying customer in this way. I will be filing a police report. DO NOT GIVE THIS BAR YOUR MONEY!!! THEY PHYSICALLY ASSAULT CUSTOMERS WITHOUT ANY...
