While working I was driving to my next stop and I drove past the Robin's nest and I'm a big fan of sandwiches and I saw the sign that said award-winning sandwiches & such
So I went to my stop, did my task and left and thought of a little bit of time. Let's try the Robin's nest. I was not disappoint.
I go in at a great time I Feel bad because it was right before they closed, I did not know this but because of that there's no way and I was in and out very quick.
The staff was incredibly friendly. I was asking questions. They asked me if it was my first time here I said yes. I've never even heard of this place I just drove past and thought I would try it.
They gave me good recommendations and they were fun and nice
They're pasta Salad was phenomenal, Rice krispie treat with a little bit of caramel was awesome. The sandwich was very good. I got the Robin's club
Next time I go I will get something different. Not because they're Robin's club was bad because it looked like they had so many good options
I will be bringing people back. They did tell me though. The line is generally out the door and very long. They have also been ranked as in the top 40 best sandwich shops in the country according to one of the workers there, with how the quality was and how good it was, the only thing I'm surprised about is that they're not...
Read moreRobinâs Nest isnât just a sandwich shopâitâs a culinary experience. My visit here was unforgettable, thanks to the incredible food and the passionate store owner who made us feel like family.
The owner personally recommended the C.O.B.A.L.T., the Big Dipper, and the Rooster Call sandwiches, and let me tell youâthey were beyond incredible. Each sandwich had its own personality, bursting with fresh ingredients and flavors that were perfectly balanced.
The C.O.B.A.L.T. was a smoky, savory masterpiece with layers of bacon and avocado that hit all the right notes. The Big Dipper felt like comfort food taken to the next level, with perfectly tender beef and a dipping sauce so rich and flavorful that Iâm still thinking about it. And the Rooster Call? A game-changer. The mix of chicken and tangy sauce was both bold and satisfying.
What made the experience even better was the ownerâs passion and knowledge. His excitement about the menu was contagious, and it was clear he genuinely cared about providing a top-tier experience. He didnât just serve sandwichesâhe shared stories and recommendations, which made our visit feel personal and special.

Read moreI just donât see the hype. Other than the names of their sandwiches, thereâs nothing quite unique about this place that Iâve found to be worthy of such high praise and high prices.
The meats that Iâve tried are mid-tier level deli meats at best. The turkey they use tastes exactly like store bought brands. Itâs quite underwhelming actually.
I do like the menu though. It certainly has enough options to satisfy most peoplesâ cravings. But again, thereâs nothing that I havenât seen done before or that hasnât been done better already.
Now for my âGet off my lawnâ moment. The straw that really breaks this camelâs back, is how expensive a sandwich is here compared to any of the top sandwich places around town. $17 for a sandwich seems a little out of touch of reality for SLC. Sure, you get chips, or a very small side of pasta salad, but letâs be real - there no real value at that price point.
There are at least 5 other high-quality sandwich shops within walking distance of this place that have far better sandwiches at far more reasonable prices and because of that, I would recommend that you try one of them instead of this place....
