Kai's Caribbean Fusion — Restaurant in San Antonio

The husband, the kids, and I went here on a whim just looking for some savory Caribbean food aligned with what we are use to. We were not too surprised because of the reviews we’ve read but more so very satisfied that this hit the spot. We tried everything on the menu. Tiffany has amazing hands and cooks to order. The chicken was crispy with the right amount of sauce, she mastered maintaining the crisp to the chicken even with the bbq sauce and had other flavors. My husband loved the Sorrel wings and barely made it home with what was left. He’s a foodie but still rates many places in San Antonio sub par. I can speak for him based off his smacking and non-stop talking about this place that he LOVED these wings. The Oxtail Quesadilla did surprise me because I hate Oxtails. This was cooked to perfection and actually mimicked a cheesesteak taste or just steak quesadilla but better. These will be the only Oxtails I eat for sure ever in life at this point. Tiffany must make these or I’ll politely decline. The kids said it was delicious and they’re very vocal. You sway my kids, you have something great. 5 stars. Tiffany is personable and I love her family gets involved. More people must know about this hidden gem as my husband calls it. You’ll be full, satisfied, and impressed with the affordability.
