Bonita Taqueria y Rotisserie — Restaurant in San Francisco

Worst burrito I’ve ever had in the Bay Area. My wife and I both got the Bonita with roti chicken and without pico de gallo. Super, super dry. Neither of us saw or tasted any of the promised sour cream, which would have helped the dry chicken, rice, and beans. The guac was also stingy. For $15, the whole thing is quite small (see attached bad photo). My wife couldn’t even finish hers because she thought it was so bad. Shout out to the woman at the counter, who was super cool and nice. Without her I would have given 1 star. I would also recommend they work on the ventilation system, there is a strong grill smell. Love this place! All the food is very fresh, well-seasoned, and comes in good portions. The menu is easy to understand and we like the adaptability. The rotisserie chicken is delicious! We also love staples like their burritos and tacos. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our dog feels welcome and likes their food too! This place is over hyped my significant other and I ordered the macho nachos, birria tacos and a single fish taco. the macho nachos are good I would rate a solid 7/10 but I can’t say the same for the birria tacos and fish tacos, the birria was dry and the tacos weren’t crunchy at all as a good birria taco should be.
