Original Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in San Francisco

If your goal is to eat other people's hair, then this is the place to go. My mother had hair in her cheesesteak, I had hair in my wings, and my brother was the only one who did not mention hair in his food. I am from Buffalo where the original wings are and I would not put this place in the top 10. They were not crispy or big. The garlic parm is not a sauce so I was a little disappointed and it added no flavor to the wings. My brother said his wings were buttery and got mild. My mother's cheesesteak had a sweet sauce like teriyaki or something similar - nothing that I've experienced in my many trips to Philly to get a cheesesteak. Not sure where they got the recipe for a Philly cheesesteak from, but it was not Philadelphia, Pa. I guess for the West Coast it wasn't horrible, but a little sad. This restaurant is special in my heart. They used to have a location in San Mateo that I would frequent with my freinds almost daily all of my middle school and high school years. Unfortunately when they closed we didn't have many chances to go to their next restaurant so we would go on occasion to San Bruno when we could. Then that one closed and we followed to San Francisco location. Fast forward 15 years and I still go out of my way to visit just for the good food and great times with my freinds. It has been a while since I last went but am excited for my next trip. Their original Buffalo flavor and Kamikaze are so good best wings I have ever had. And honestly...

First off. I've been coming to this Obw for the last 20 years, and while a bit overpriced, it's literally been my favorite place for buffalo wings. The best sauce (original spicy) and wings that were always crispy and tender. But it seems like there's constantly new ownership or something. Which is usually not a problem except this last time I went. The wings literally looked boiled. The opposite of crispy, and even the sauce was terrible. I was pissed!!! $24 and starving, yet I couldn't get myself to eat anything but the soggy fries after trying one wing. I'll probably give them one more try for old times sake and I pray they figure out...
