So, leaving this review to try and help customers. The food is actually pretty good and satisfying, especially compared to another restaurant that’s a little further on the beach. Atmosphere is chill and nice. The big issue is the service, I’ve never seen such a lack of efficiency in my life, they all look like it’s their first day at work. We ate there several times, the food takes forever to come out of the kitchen, it also take long to order and get simple things like water, drinks etc (we even had to go get our own drinks at the bar to speed up the process, after 45 min of waiting for a bottle of water). And of course the place wasn’t busy at all (3 tables) So my advice is : if you stay near and look for a good place for food, go there, food is tasty, but not if you’re in a rush. If you have time to enjoy the place it’s fine … Otherwise, or if you’re starving just pass because you’ll go nuts. The staff is nice but just unbelievable slow, unexperienced and don’t seem to care much about their customers. Also, it’s supposed to open at 9 for breakfast but they couldn’t serve us at 9.30 because the employee didnt show up and was “probably still sleeping”… But this place is still better than the beach house next door that has a minimum spend policy, is as slow, and where the food is just bad. Hope...
Read moreI would not advise any visitors that don’t speak Spanish to visit this establishment. The waitress couldn’t speak English. The kids meals are the same price as the adult meals. We asked for water, and never specified bottle water. The waitress brought 5 Fiji waters to our table, for which we opened 3, and poured them into our glasses. Minutes later, we decided the restaurant wasn’t very kid friendly, so we decided not to order and leave. The waitress chased us out of the restaurant saying we needed to pay $12 for the bottle water that we never asked for. The waitress claims this is normal around the island, but yet this is the first encounter we have had like this, after being to PR many times. I refused to pay for the water being that the price was never disclosed to me, and we didn’t drink the water. The waitress then called the police on us, whom were so disrespectful. They clearly didn’t have any interest in speaking to us because we were tourists. Smh, such a wonderful trip until this moment. I can clearly see why my family were the only customers in the restaurant, and it won’t be long before this establishment is closed permanently. Beautiful location and everything else was BASURA. If I could’ve given ZERO stars or negative, then that’s what I...
Read moreWe were a party of four looking to have a relaxing late lunch or early dinner. Very bad experience! Besides a very limited menu, things started going wrong beginning with the appetizers. One for which they did not have the sauce with which it appeared on the menu and made it sound attractive. Instead, the waitress said it could be served with BBQ sauce or mayo-ketchup. Not very imaginative for a pricey restaurant. The other appetizer we ordered (chicken wings) was dry and tasteless. We did not finish eating it all. After ordering the main dish, the waitress came back to say that they didn’t have one of the components it stated on the menu and which was intrinsic to that particular dish. We were so disappointed that along with the lousy service, we decided to go somewhere else for dinner (we had a great time). Oh by the way, the water that was asked for by one of our party members when we sat down and ordered the wine, finally arrived when we decided we were leaving. Lousy service and manager very unprofessional. The only positive thing we can say about the place is its view of the beach. Do not recommend it. If a negative review was possible, I...
