Bright Side Cafe (Inside The Merchantile) — Restaurant in Scottsdale

I stopped by for the first time to try it out! I got the hot matcha with vanilla. It cost $7.56, took about 10 min to prepare, and it was not bad but not at all worth the price or wait time. The drink was not as creamy, as full, nor as large as I expected for nearly $8. They did not ask about the milk, but apparently it was whole milk, but it didn't taste as creamy as I was expecting. The flavor was pretty good. The cup was not filled up all the way, and it appears to be a 12-oz cup. They have no food options other than a few muffins and cake pops. Overall, I would not recommend it unless you are stranded there and desperate. But maybe the other drinks with strawberry puree, etc., are tastier. The barrista came to check on me and informed me that the cold drinks were the most popular with strawberry or other fruit purrees and cold foam on top. She also offered to remake it for me, but I did not want to be charged again. It is located inside the Mercantile building with vendors, so it is in a bright cheery environment. While on vacation last week, I stopped by with my cousin, and as a true coffee lover ☕️💕 I couldn’t resist trying a new shop. I first noticed this place on social media because of their unique printing on the cold foam—something I had never experienced before! 👀✨

We visited on a Sunday morning. Since the café is located at the back of another shop, they have their own separate entrance in the back of the building (not scary at all, I promise 😅).

Now for the highlight: this was honestly the best cold foam I’ve ever had—12/10! 🙌💯 I’ll definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in town.

We stopped by this awesome cafe, we got the blueberry latte and also one of their foam printer that places cute pictures or customized lettering on top without burning the milk, it’s magical! We ordered one with a “Hello Kitty” picture, it is completely edible, and doesn’t de tract from the taste of the latte. The lattes were delicious, and the shots were pulled correctly where it provided a smooth and bold flavor which complimented the hint of blueberry flavoring.
