When I came onto google to write this review I wasn’t surprised to see that one of their servers, DJ, already had negative feedback written about him…. My wife and I sat on the rooftop each morning of our stay with a light breakfast and coffee; On our last day we did the same (keep in mind it was around 10am and the place was empty).. specifically at a high top table AWAY from the bar/restaurant area. We weren’t aware that the section we were sitting in was apart of the restaurant (so obviously outside food was not allowed), but like I said, this high top area doesn’t initially seem to be apart of the restaurant. The server, DJ, immediately came over to us and said with an attitude “I CANT ALLOW YOU TO BE EATING UP HERE WITH OUTSIDE FOOD”. First of all, “I cant allow you” should not be in your vernacular as someone who works in hospitality. I’m not an inmate and we’re not in prison… realize what you do for work. I told him that we had been doing this every day and no one has said that it was an issue (other staff members walked by us on other days). He didn’t care for anything I had to say and just repeated himself with the same tone of voice and attitude, and then he walked away. Surprise surprise, his actions didn’t make me get up from the table… a few minutes later another server (a female) walked by and POLITELY said that we can’t have food from outside up on the rooftop. Cool, so my wife stopped eating her crepe because she spoke to us like an adult, and we were now just sitting there enjoying the sun. (Food container shut & closed). DJ walks back a few minutes later, and I said to him “dont worry she’s not eating anymore, we’re just sitting here” (again, the place was completely empty)… and DJ says “she better not have taken one bite because i told her not to”. Are you kidding me? Who speaks like that and expects to not get into a confrontation? It’s like he was looking for a fight. I told him off, and he walked away, cried to his manager… Now his manager comes upstairs to speak to us, and he is a professional, so we have a normal human conversation with zero issues. I explained the situation to him and he was very understanding and apologized for the way DJ spoke to us and ensured us that he would be spoken to. Okay here’s the best part of the story: About an hour later we are now at the pool section of the rooftop (that ACTUALLY has signage stating that outdoor food was not permitted).. and we witnessed two other couples that brought their own food. The one couple was blatantly eating and the female server who we interacted with after DJ was serving them drinks & absolutely had to have notice them eating…. Nothing was said to them… but such a big deal was made over us.

Read moreWent to Outriders on Saturday night to catch up with some friends and have a good time. Ended up having atrocious service.
We get to the rooftop area & immediately get yelled at for “standing.” We explain that our friend was already waiting for us at one of the tables, we’re simply trying to find where he’s sitting. They keep repeating that we can’t stand. Okay. We find our group.
They start yelling at us again saying that they can only seat 6 ppl per table. They only had 5 chairs at the table we were sitting at, so again, not sure we’re getting yelled at again within a few minutes of walking into the place.
Our waiter (TJ) takes a while to serve us. When he comes over, that’s when everything quickly went down hill.
He didn’t introduce himself, we actually didn’t even find out what his name was until after we requested to speak with a manager and we saw his name on the bill. Just immediately started off by saying, “There’s a 20% gratuity and we need a credit card right now for the table.”
We give him a card. TJ takes a while to come back again.
One of our friends was visiting from Seattle. When it’s finally time to order drinks, he simply asks TJ if he can have a Washington Red apple. TJ literally yells, “No! You need to order a REAL drink! We have plenty of great cocktails to choose from.” Extremely rude. He could’ve easily just said that they didn’t have that available or some other excuse. We thought about leaving right then, but we didn’t want to spoil the night with our friends and decided to try to brush it off for now. We also had another group of friends coming, which we already had a table reserved for.
When our other group shows up, they get the same treatment - immediately get yelled at for “standing.”
Shortly after, a few of us in the group decide that we don’t want to stay at this rooftop for the rest of the night. I ask for the check so we can just get out of there. While we’re waiting a group of about 12 people show up. We notice how they don’t get yelled at for “standing” and proceed to congregate all together towards the corner of the patio. Interesting.
TJ comes back with the check and immediately starts telling the people that we staying behind that he needs another card on file right now. We start to head out. One of the guys in our group decides to ask the host why the large group outside is able to stand around & they’re not getting reprimanded like everyone else. Come to find out, it’s the general manager and some of his buddies. Interesting.
Won’t ever come back based on how horribly we were treated. Only good thing about the place is the...
Read moreSHAME!!!! Discrimination alert! We have what could be described as our worst discrimination experience ever. We went to the restaurant and nobody greeted us at the front but we guessed the staff was bussy and didnt mind, there were no tables available, so we went to the bar where people were standing in to order, all normal at this point, the very moment they heard us in talking in spanish everything change. First they told us we could not be just standing up that we needed a table or to move to another area, went to the bar and we asked for a drink and a beer, Im not going to lie the drink was very good and I sat on the one available chair at the bar so we did not have to be standing up a however my boyfriend did stand up for about 5 minutes than another couple left a table so we sat there, ofcourse we saw at least 6 persons standing up which did NOT match with the first guy telling us we could not just stand up. 2 more guys stood up on the balconey almost for the same time we drank sitted and nobody came to tell them anything. Than a lady came in and inform us that at 6:30 we needed to leave because there was a reservation, I was already uncomfortable so I did not mind leaving in an hour, we kept drinking the view with the sunset was very pretty. They asked for our credit card but I did not feel comfortable to leave them my credit card so I asked them to bring in our check as we ordered our next drinks. Another lady came telling us we had to leave at 6pm but the first lady told us we were supposed to leave at 6:30. And we told her that and she agreed. 6:05 We paid chash, both times we tipped over the 20%. 6:10 a lady came and inform us that we had to leave due to another guest arriving early to her reservation. We stood up finished the drink and never will...
