I had an iced mocha and it was fairly okay and was priced somewhat appropriately BUT there's just something about the interior of the place that's missing or in need of improving...
I'm trying to describe what it is about the place that leaves a very plain, sterile almost unfriendly after-taste... T There's plenty to like about this place.. the 2 employees were friendly, polite and appropriately dressed but there's no compelling reason to return for another coffee or whatever.. The establishment doesn't leave you with anything particularly fond or memorable whatsoever. In fact it's somewhat of a nice diversion from the corporate Starbucks feel and experience but I can't think of any description that would identify this place as a coffee house in which there's any memorable reason for me to want to share it with a friend or family or co-worker. I'm not in favor of saying anything bad about it because the iced mocha was okay and the employees were pleasant... I guess maybe it's the generic undefined nature of the huge room and cement floors that leaves such an empty void that's kinda uncomfortable and blaa about the...
Read moreI’m from SD was visiting my company’s HQ and a bunch of friends, this place has amazing espresso. I get it Seattle has coffee companies that have to compete with starbucks so they’re typically better but this stuff was top notch.
We’ve got places like Bird Rock Cafe, Steady State, Coffee Coffee (yes that’s the name of a coffee place in Encinitas) but dang never will I question Seattle ever again. Like most places in Seattle they do double shots which is fine get me jittered up. When the coffee is this good it’s GOOD. Definitely buying my beans from here.
Besides the taste the inside is nice has some plants to liven the mood, modern aesthetically pleasing and warm. Workers are chill and professional they know what they’re doing. You’d be surprised some coffee spots I ask the workers and they can’t tell a espresso bean from a coffee bean they’ll recommend anything. Support local...
Read moreOkay, wow. I'm usually not blown away by coffee shops and this is one I had to rave about on Yelp! I'm a basic b and just get lattes with oat milk. As basic as the drink is, I've come across plenty of places that have messed it up. But Anchorhead Coffee literally made me my most ideal cup of oat latte EVER.
First off, the staff were so nice and welcoming! Upon getting my latte, I saw the latte art and it was so beautiful! The milk was extra hot and frothy which I didn't ask for but I do prefer. Even half way through, my drink was still steaming hot! The espresso was also made perfect! It was mellow but strong enough. Not too acidic and not burnt! I think you can tell I'm very particular about my lattes and I've had many that have been imperfect. So when I taste one that is made perfectly, I can't help but to have a little pep in my step! Thank...
