Sushi burritos are inherently funny but these sushi burritos are also delicious and an excellent value. Service is swift (except for that there is only one machine to lay rice on the nori in a perfectly even layer), and the end result is delicious.
I got a make-your-own crab roll -- I added seaweed salad, ginger, and corn. My dining companions got the two specials, the dancing salmon (I tried half; I would skip the lettuce next time) and the Sumo Crunch (I didn't try this one but my friend liked it a lot; it also seemed neater to eat because the tempura flakes on the outside make it easier to push up out of the paper wrapping).
Any sushi burrito can also be made as a salad or poke bowl, but then you won't get the amusing cardboard...
Read moreI walked upstairs at Westlake Mall to grab some noodles and saw this place finally opened. Looking at the menu I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. The menu doesn’t look all that appealing. As I walked up not sure what to do, I decided to just select the shrimp combo version. It was quite fascinating watching them put it together and roll it. I did a mix of the spicy and normal sauce. They also dipped it into some mixture at the end.
After he rolled it and put it in the box I was surprised by how heavy it was. Well, let me tell you. The roll was AMAZING.
The price was a bit high with tip, but Seattle prices seem to be increasing. Also, I would say it is a deal for the quantity...
