Don't be fooled by this place's casual, easy-going aesthetic. I had my best dining experience here of the year. Close your eyes and just concentrate on the quality of the food: the beet salad, the Lebanese meatballs, the grilled canjun shrimp Po-boys, the zesty Bahn-Mi sandwich. Each dish was made with individual love by some dedicated chef in the kitchen. Absolutely incredible. Why blow hundreds of dollars in ritzy Seattle or in Bellevue when you can get some of the best food in Seattle right here?

This place is awesome. It has a very comfortable, casual feel- and the service is excellent! The Bartender/Server Madeline was so friendly and genuine. We were the first people there this evening, she asked us if there was music we wanted her to put on, as well as poured us water the second we walked in because it was quite hot outside. The decor is unique and fun. The food was REALLY good! We just got a couple appetizers, but they were big, filling, and delicious!

Haven't had their food, but their drinks are delicious and not crazy expensive. I love the atmosphere here, with local art on the walls available for purchase, an array of couches, comfy chairs, high top tables and low top tables. It also has a pretty lovely view of the Space Needle on a clear night. Not a bad beer selection either.

Solo Bar is utterly amazing! My boyfriend and I could not stop raving about this place to our friends. We also surprised some of our local friends as they never heard of it, but I think we've convinced them enough :)

Their drinks are very well made and the service is impeccable. Our server/bartender was really attentive and great at giving us lovely tips about the food and drinks. The bar seemed to be a very casual, friendly spot and a favorite in the neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I ordered their food which was outstanding. I ordered their Butter Lettuce Salad with Grilled Chicken, and it was mouthwateringly delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I have to say their cook is marvelous. They really know how to make their food absolutely tasty.

Truly recommend it for those looking for a relaxing...

I liked the ambiance of the space, not too many tables and places to sit, though that was a disappointment for at least one couple who wanted to stay, but there were no spots left, which is unusual for a bar like this. I enjoyed my cider drink with cinnamon, but the food was where they lost me. Took 40 minutes to bring out three small dishes: wings, fig jam bruschetta, and brussel sprouts. Not much fig flavor in the bruschetta. The brussel sprouts were "meh" and relied too much on balsamic, so they had a little bite, but not much else and could have been pan roasted a bit more. The wings were the best of the dishes, which speaks for someone who isn't usually a...

This place is a great hidden gem, which sounds like a cliche, but it's exactly correct for Solo Bar. Delicious food! Highly recommend the mac & cheese with mushrooms added (or one of several meats if you're not into mushrooms). They have a great happy hour with specialty cocktails, craft beers, and a wine list. Everything with gin is amazing. In the cooler months they have hot cocktails as well. Very interesting vibe with couches and cushy chairs on one side and small tables and the bar on the other side. Can get a little busy toward the end of happy hour, but the space is spread out, so you could order a drink and sip it while waiting for a...
