Waited 20 minutes for a table that had been unoccupied from the time we walked in. Waited for our server to attend to us, by the time they came around after walking past our empty glasses 10 times, (we tried to no avail to get their attention) “can I get you anything?” “Yes I would like-“ cut me off “I’ll go check on your food.” didn’t come back for 15 minutes. Served multiple other tables around us I assume because they were Four Tops and we were just two. We ended up being late to the concert. We were trying to attend because we couldn’t get any attention. We couldn’t even get the bill paid. We finally had to stand up and actually yell for attention we missed the opening band. The food we were served, was messy undercooked couldn’t even pick the burger up because it was souped through the bottom bun. The bill was atrocious $95 for two burgers and three beers. And if the wait person is reading this, Yep you got a three dollar tip on that you should’ve come and paid attention to us. You shouldn’t have ignored us. We basically paid to wait around. McMenamins makes far too much money did not have enough staff. McMenamins makes far too much money just from Edgefield that everything they do should be affordable. I grew up right by Edgefield. I will never go to a...

I stopped in with a couple friends a few weekends ago for lunch. I had been here a few times years ago and always enjoyed their beer sitting at the bar. It was busy, but not packed. We found a table no problem. A table we sat and waited at.... And waited.... We finally got up and grabbed some menus... And waited some more. It was over 25 minutes before the waiter finally came over. We ordered food and drinks and waited some more. Drinks finally came and we waited again. It was an hour after we got there we finally got our food... And mine was wrong. Not wanting to wait another hour I ate it since it was close enough to what I ordered. You can see directly into the kitchen from where we were sitting. I'm not exactly sure why it took so long or what went wrong. When we were finally done we had to get up and ask for the check. What was supposed to be a quick lunch, turned into 2 hours!

On the plus side, my mushroom burger (instead of the blue cheese burger I ordered) was tasty enough. The tater tots were crisp and well cooked if not exactly spectacular. Another plus was the Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown seasonal beer. It was fresh and tasty!

Moral of the story is go for the beer but sit at the bar so you don't have to wait so long. Just as I did when I went...

My friend and I went to McMenamins at 5:45 pm for a meal and drinks on a Tuesday evening before a 6:30 lecture. We were greeted in a friendly manner, shown to our seats, ordered our food and drinks, and received drinks before our food arrived without delay, and then finally we were forgotten about for the next 35-40 minutes. Maybe the waitress was stretched too thin having to cover many tables, maybe she is new and still learning that it appropriate to check back with customers to see if they would like another drink (which we both very much did), or maybe, just possibly, the waitress had "copped an attitude" toward us because when she delivered my pint of beer, there was a full inch of empty space at the top where the head had settled. I only mentioned this third possibility because she seemed annoyed with me when I asked her if she would mind to "top it off". ( I understand this could suggest I may be a "problem" customer.) Anyway, the food was tasty, the drinks were fine, but who wants to wait for an unattentive waitress when there are other places with...

Pretty delicious burgers and ciders! Came here at 7pm on a Sunday and it was easy to get a table and a good meal. The prices are a little high but they are on par with most restaurants in the area, so expected. Their cider flight was great for the price and the flavors were delicious according to other guests in my party! The atmosphere is pretty neat with a lot of unique paintings/murals around the place. They offered an okay gluten free experience with gluten free buns and salad dressings. But to note, although they have a separate fryer, there cross contamination risks from the manufacturer of the fries and tots. However it was well communicated and accounted for!

$25 cheese burgers. What are we even doing as a society? They don't even give you that many fries or tots for the fortune they charge, and they were cold. Disgraceful. The burgers are also just unimpressive. It's all just frozen stuff from the grocery store, it's not like they artisanally craft their fries. I've been to much more high end restaurants in this area that charge $20 for a burger, except they are huge, gourmet, fancy burgers with actually-hot fries. This stuff is Dick's Drive-ln, but sad and triple the price. The interior is nice and cozy, with great art on the wall. Maybe it would be better if Queen Anne were washed into the sea.

Doing a Northwest Road Trip - After visiting the Chihuly Museum in Seattle (highly recommend, can’t say the same for the MOPOP) and rather than eating at the Armory (Food Court), we took a 10 minute walk to McMenamins - brewpub / restaurant. Really glad we did. Atmosphere / Decor different in a good way. The Bartender (Brandon) was great and gave good recommendations when asked what to have for lunch. The beers were excellent and so was the food. The Biggest Jack sandwich (Pastrami) and the Backyard (Burger) were spot on. Really happy we went there. Great value and Highly Recommend.
