Surprisingly nice, airy outpost to get a cuppa on the fringes of Belltown. They're just far away from the core to be quiet, and definitely cool enough to make the trip to support. Street Bean helps kids from the streets learn about coffee, giving them a chance to make some money and lift themselves up.

They used to do WiFi correctly (using WPA2 to encrypt connections from other customers), but have recently switched to an unsecure network with captive portal that requires you to verify your email address to use. The connection is still fast and stable, but I highly suggest using a burner email and a VPN to protect your traffic from other users while using the network.
I've been trying to get them to add WPA2 back on the network, but apparently that would conflict with their "mission" somehow (it won't). I've been unable to get them to elaborate further on that point.
