I decided to come to this coffee shop thay I have done in the past few years that I’ve been coming to Sedona for hiking. Today must not have been my day because I went in while it was quiet, I saw someone coming up behind me and held open the door for someone thay I didnt realized worked in this shop. This lady did not even thank me nor acknowledge so I was surprised she had walked to the back to start working. Then when I approached the register, I caught the barista (tall dude) hugging or having a private moment with some lady. He did see me but didn’t care to acknowledge me until his female friend pointed me out. When he was done having his moment, he walked over to the register with an attitude like I did something wrong. Come on? I’m a customer, the least you can do is be professional and smile. He was pleasant with other customers that came in after me. This place has bad energy. Ironic considering they have all these crystals to have good energy…. Something they lack themselves. The staff needs some training on having good manners and being pleasant with everyone or don’t work in a coffee shop. Sad that this used to be my favorite coffee shop in Sedona. Staff wasn’t...
Read moreWhat a beautiful spot, serving the best coffee, vibes, crystals, and Sedona experiences! This shop is absolutely amazing, as soon as you enter you can feel the Sedona energies in action. It is right at the South entrance of Sedona so you can't miss it! It is the only specialty coffee shop in Sedona and if you miss this stop you won't find any other coffee shops that come even close to this further in town. They serve Peixoto Coffee, farmed by the Peixoto family in Brazil and roasted in Chandler AZ, served freshly and carefully prepared by the wonderful baristas at Black Potion. They make their own syrups, cold brew, chai, and use only the highest quality ingredients. They also serve small locally made pastries daily. Feel the tropical vibes of Brazil meeting the mystical vibes of Sedona in a perfect setting! I recommend grabbing a vanilla or mocha and getting an aura reading from one of their psychics before exploring the amazing nature around Sedona. An...
Read moreAVOID THIS BUSINESS! This business willfully, blatantly, and irresponsibly violates county, state, and federal health codes for food establishments. This was independently verified and confirmed by the Coconino County Health Department.
The people working at the counter refused to address the problem. There was no manager on-site. Presumably, they knew what they were doing was wrong and egregiously disgusting, because they must have taken a food handler's course in order to work there, right? But, they argued and said they were correct and doing nothing wrong. Remember, the health department verified that they WERE wrong!
They do not seem to care at all about the health and safety of their customers, nor the cleanliness of their establishment. All of the employees need to be retrained on food safety and customer service. It is very sad when your customers know the regulations better than the employees, and it is even sadder that they...
