Sedona Spa — Local services in Sedona

Wife and I had the prickly pear sugar scrub for our 40th anniversary. We went early and spent a couple of hours at the pool and it was very relaxing. Bar tender made great drinks and the vibe was really nice. Time for the spa treatment and female came and got my wife and male came to get me. I said we specifically asked for a female for each. Reservations made a month in advance. They switched and I was with the female but wife went with the male which was not what we reserved. Jessica, my esthetician, talked about herself constantly and spent more time prepping than working on me. The table did not have the face hole massage tables do and was very uncomfortable when on my stomach. We’ve had spa treatments numerous times at The Enchantment and it was wonderful. I really needed a massage and some pampering after a grueling hike the day before. Sedona Spa was close to my hotel and within Los Abrigados Resort. The Hiker’s Paradise massage was wonderful. I think my masseuse’s name was Marsha and she was fantastic. I could use the resort’s facilities - heated pool and large whirlpool. There was also a sauna and steam room as well as a gym. I purchased a day pass at this spa and I was questioned whether I was a guest or had purchase a spa membership because I chose to stretch on the floor in the locker area. The manager I believe her name is Savannah McKain approached w all of this … I am veteran RN of many years helping many people and to be treated the way I was … couldn’t believe it!
